Mr.AbusivePanda
I have a scout level of 8 when i became a jedi and i juts found out my jedi can only go to 12 limiting feats skills powers etc. Should i start over?
eidospsogos
you really do not gain that much by becoming ajedi earlier. maybe one or two feats depending on your starting class and your corresponding jedi class. and a force power for each level you hold back. there are benefits to either course. such as a scout at 8 has gained all three levels of implant and both uncanny dodge feats. if you trade early, you gain an extra feat, but it's lost again if you want that extra implant level. so you could gain a few extra force powers. i would just focus on supplementing your party memeber with the powers you yourself do not have. eidospsogos
yes going guardian gets you some extra feat potential. as guardians are the soldier class of the jedi.

Sakone
2 Scout/18 Consular DOES rock though Apart from the above example - I don't see any need/point to save levels... Plus, saving levels is boring/lots of reloading at the beginning of the game...
eidospsogos
except you lose practically every benefit gained from being a scout to begin with. you get 1 implant level and uncanny dodge 1 and that's it. what's so great about that?
Bastilla'sMan
I have decided that for my next character, I'm going to hold off on leveling up past 2nd until I get to Dantooine (Soldier/Guardian). For those of you have done it, just how hard is it to get all the way through Taris at 2nd Level?

I saved lvls from 3 and up, and had no trouble at all. Lvl 2 isnt much harder, so you should be ok. Also, if your going to save lvls go Jedi Consular. The other classes can handle levelling up without problems. I would say, unless your going Consular dont save the lvls. -Clemme

lukeiamyourdad
You should die often enough since your vitaliy points are so low(especially if you're a scoundrel). Your teammates can compensate for that though.
Quillan
My first time through, I finished with a level 8 scout/level 12 sentinel. It's not a problem.
SpaceButler14
For my second time through I'm a level 8 scoundrel and a consular on top of that and I must say, it's not one of the most effective ways, esp. on lightside.
lukeiamyourdad
I know dark side consular are so cool. In my whole life I've tried to force choke someone and now it has happened *sniff*
txa1265
Scout/Sentinel seems to be *made* for a 8/12 balance, looking at the distribution of powers, feats and free extras. That is my plan for my next playthrough. 1st time I did a 6/14 Scoundrel/Consular - I could have nicknamed my character Joe Charisma 2nd time was a 5/15 Soldier/Guardian - great balance of feats. This time is a 5/15 Soldier/Consular - I got all of the feats I needed, including 3rd level toughness to make up for my lost VP as consular. Add a strength and wisdom enhancer, and I am simultaneously killer with Force powers and my saber ... Mike
