I will be...an LOTR Nerd

Recommended Posts

I Have both EEs. I must admit I want to be a LOTR nerd of sorts. I have just started reading FOTR and I have to admit, Tolkien's style does take some getting used to, and I'm saying that as a really avid reader...I love to read about everything from Ottoman(Turkish) History to Emily Dickinson and I have to admit, Tolkien was definitely in his own 'zone'............... I am looking forward to getting stuck into them though !

Then dont play it on your xbox, try it on your PC (if you have a DVD drive and software) or on a normal DVD player.

Dude, I have a DVD BURNER. :p

But, I don't have a normal DVD player. I have an XBox and a PS2. My PS2 used to be my DVD Player, but since I got the XBox, I found out it has better quality.

Yes, and also if you can speak elvish....

You get upset when the LOTR movies have subtitles for the elvish dialogue, because you think everyone should know elvish dammit !!

I did watched FotR and TT extended editions and then watched RotK at the theater. It was well worth the day that i spent doing it.

And the only reason the PS2 has better graphics than the N64 is because it came out after the N64

The only reason the XBOX has better graphics than my Pong arcade machine is because the XBOX came out after it. :D

Also, I don't think there's really any major change in quality using PS2 or XBOX for DVDs.
