Many of the questions you all asked made it into the email...but they were reworded so they flowed a bit more smoothly. SWBF.net: Most of the community’s curiosity surrounds the planets and maps available in the game. Other interviews have filled us in on most of the planets, but are there any surprises in store for us? And as far as maps, how many are planned? LEC/Pandemic: SWBF.net: Could you comment on the general size of the maps (as small as Jedi Academy or as large as Tribes) and how interactive these maps will be? LEC/Pandemic: SWBF.net: Vehicles will obviously play a large role in the game. Could you give us some details on how many there are, specifically what types of vehicles they will be, and if there will be limits on the number of vehicles in each battle. LEC/Pandemic: SWBF.net: With vehicles comes the need from something to combat them. What type of anti-vehicular weapons can we expect to find and will the balance between them and the vehicles be fair? LEC/Pandemic: SWBF.net: Speaking of weapons, will it be possible to pick up weapons dropped by enemies? If not, how will ammunition be handled? LEC/Pandemic: SWBF.net: What are the classes we can expect to see? Will there generally be the same classes in each army or will certain armies be better skilled in different areas? LEC/Pandemic: SWBF.net: The debate on how involved Jedi should be in the game has been significant. Now that we know they will not be playable, could you fill us in on the role they and other NPCs will take in the game? LEC/Pandemic: SWBF.net: Should we expect mod tools to be released to the public or will that decision come at a later date? LEC/Pandemic: SWBF.net: And finally, fans everywhere are curious about the similarities between Battlefront and Battlefield 1942. Can you comment on the similarities and differences between the two titles and what will set your game apart from BF1942 and its successor, Battlefield: Vietnam?
