Anyways, you only really need to disable that option if you have a really low connection. My connection would be a lot faster if it wasn't shared through a router.
--ZeeMan-- Posted February 24, 2004 Posted February 24, 2004 yes i am currently enjoying the 17k/sec rate that the school has even tho it has a dsc (sp?) line into the school. so basically out of a ****load (yes it was edited so just think metric buttload!) of t-1 lines, and prolly one t-1 line to the computer lab that i'm out now...with *counts* 26 people.....1.5mb/sec divided by 26.....it should be about 60k/sec....BUT NOOOOOOOO it's 17k/sec

I turned off my sig a while ago... I think of it as doing LF a favor, minimizing the time it takes threads to load up... ugh... good thing I am usually patient... btw, our school uses T3.
