Most games that have a MP mode has good replayability, even more if the developers continue to support the game long after its release like DICE did with BF1942.

As long as the game play is good for the player then it will always be popular. Mods also help lengthens the interest (take a hint LucasArts and Pandemic).

About the multiplayer I haven't heared anything, I think the replayability would be at least as good as other multiplayer games.
