Ylizor
Hello. I wonder about Jedi Master Plo Koon's lightsaber. Strangely I have seen pictures of Plo Koon's saberbeam where it is blue, orange, and where it is yellow. However he seem to have different lightsabers when this is noticed upon. In the second movie of Star Wars, in the circle of Jedi fighting droids you can see master Plo Koon with a blue saberbeam. But on many many pictures he has a yellow saberbeam. If you go to the Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy big download pages and search for Plo Koon's lightsaber there comes two different ones. I got some pictures at my briefcase, have a look at them: http://f2.pg.briefcase.yahoo.com/bc/ylizorsooca/lst?.dir=/Pictures Does it make any sense? What is the truth? Wanderer
Well... I think until Plo Koon has a full scene in a starwars movie with his lightsaber fighting the rumors will go on spreading....but since he had already a fighting scene in AotC I would say they decided to make his lightsaber 'blue'. Often people don't know what color the saber of a starwars character has and give then a color what they think fits best.... Also important...there aren't just the movies there are the expanded universe books and comics.... on one books cover I saw him with an orange lightsaber (If it was really plo koon). I also bought an old ps1 game for my ps2 'Jedi Power Battles' and there was also plo koon with an orange lightsaber....
Ylizor
Let us say he has a blue saberbeam then. The movies are most truthfully. But how about his lightsaber? Is it the one with black underwear or the whole white one?
dark jedi 8
i believe the EP. 2 dictionary has a pic of his lightsaber hilt. i think it looks a lot like the one mace had in EP. 1. i might be wrong but that's what i remember.

Codja X
I believe his saber was Yellow/Orange in Jedi Power Battles, but in the movie it was Blue and as the movies are canon, blue it is. I personally prefer the yellow saber for him, but a lot of people are quite rigid when it comes to canon. Of interest though is that in the Jedi Power Battles game, Mace Windu's saber is Blue, not his regulation Purple, so it looks like that particular game should be ignored for lightsaber colour purposes. dark jedi 8
i think sam jackson just asked GL to have a purple lightsaber around the time of Ep. 2, when he found out he was finally going to use it. but i think in the vidoe game "obi wan", mace had a purple saber, and koon had blue. Sabretooth
Who says he has just one saber? He may be using a blue saber as his primary weapon and a yellow/orange as his secondaries.
guybroom
Good point, have none of you played KOTOR? You can have many different lightsabers with you but you don't have to use them all at once.
Ockniel
in your picture gallery the first image is mace windu's saber hilt, and I think the second is anakins, I think that these are fan art pictures, not officially released ones
Rawker
Plo Koon's just has different coloured lightsabers, just like how women have so much friggen shoes. Shok_Tinoktin
i think the blue blade makes more sense given the context. It is my understanding that during that time almost all Jedi used Adegan crystals that only come in blue and green. I think all the Jedi (besides Mace) in the movies use blue or green. (By all means correct me if im wrong). As far as Mace, the TV spots suggest that his saber is not made the same way as other Jedi. (for everyone else, they say "crysatal lightsaber", but for Mace it says "electrum lightsaber") but I do think it would be cool to see a Jedi wield a yellow saber

TicaL
I'd go for Yellow, because apart from the JPB game I have seen various pictures with his yellow saber, whereas the pictures referenced above kind of look fake... Somehow, also, the Yellow seems to fit with Kel-Dor characters. On a side note Adi-Gallia is HOT
Lieutenant_kettch
all in all, both mace windu and adi-gallia imply that more colors were available then just blue and green
Shok_Tinoktin
Originally posted by rcsquirrel900 Adi Gallia uses a red lighsaber, and she is a jedi, not a sith. She could have easily gotten the synthetic crystal of a Sith lightsaber. In either case, the point still stands that if both are choices, it is more likely to be blue than yellow. btw, was it red in the movie, or did u get this somewhere else? Update:Just watched AOTC, saw no evidence of a red saber besides that of Dooku. Only a swarm of blue and green (and of course a little purple). Update:SW.com databases do not give the color of her saber, which seems like it would be worth mentioning (if red). Update:Just looked around the internet for answers, and have confirmed that her saber blade is never seen in the movies. The only thing I have found is an action figure, and she does have a red blade. However, if we get into non-movie sources, we could say that Callista has a yellow blade. However, it is more accurate to go off the evidence given by the movies, in which his saber is definitely blue.
TicaL
In the game Jedi Power Battles, she has a Red saber also, to my knowledge anyway, and she is said to use it as a tool of her sensational speed and agility, dunno how that has anything to do with colour though?... Lieutenant_kettch
Shok, in response to the lack of red, couldn't it be very possible that most jedi simply do not use red because red is the main color for a sith blade? They may not want to be seen as sithly. In the SW Databank, it mentions that she held her lightsaber with a reverse grip i.e.blade pointed down(opposite of the usual) thus, it would have been nearly impossible to see in the movies And it would not be in database if red was available and she happened to use it, because it wouldn't be anything unique, jsut different. Also, the SW databank doesn't mention Ki-Adi-Mundi's status as the only JK in the JC which seems like something worth mentioning. If her blade is red in Jedi Power Battles, a lucasarts product, i think it is viable to say lucasarts says its red, thus, its red. dabe: since the dark side of the force is seen as the quick and easy way, a red lightsaber could be in reference to the dark side, giving adi the quick and easy trait to her lightsaber, just a thought.
