Someone told me that Palpatine turns the Republic into The Empire because he gets full command and orders all the Jedi to be wiped out. Is that true? Ok, in Episode III we'll see the rise of the empire and yes, Palpy does order the killing of all the Jedi. The very same troopers that the Jedi had been commanding for years are ordered by the Emperor to turn on their generals and they do so without question. joesdomain Posted April 23, 2004 Share Posted April 23, 2004 I hope the Imperial starships and vehicles look very similar to the original trilogy Imperial craft because I thought the Empire was going to be in place at the end of Episode III.
