Seprithro
if you're like me your over ride folder is getting cramped, any way to mod the game to read files from folders inside the over ride folder?
T7nowhere
I had thought of this when I first started with this stuff and quickly realized that Im glad it doesn't read folders in override. It makes it a lot easyer to just have multiple folders for works in progress and tmp folders to store the mods I do use while I test others. Boba Rhett
Are you talking about something like PatchCommander for Jedi Knight?

Rhett does bring up an interesting point though. It should be possible to do something similar to patch commander. The detection of incompatibilities would definitely be helpful for some. reminisces about good old JK days...

The incompatibility issue is the primary reason that I started to make the Holowan Plug-in. Even if there is a utility that tells us when two mods are incompatible that doesn't solve the problem of the mods being incompatible in the first place. I think most people that have used any mods made by Holowan users know that if they drop the file in override and a windows message pops up about there being two files of the same name, that person knows that the new mod they want to add is gonna cause some problems. The majority of mods that are made are capable of being combined it just takes the effort of doing so and usually it's just the 2da's that conflict. Though I am happy to continue adding mods to Holowan Plug-in, very few people tell me when they have a mod they want submitted, and it takes alot of work sometimes traking down some people. SO I'll say this again, please if you want your mod to be added help me out and tell me about it. It would be easyer for you the mod author to PM me with updates to a mod or that you want it included, than it is for me to track you guys and the mods down.
