RoxStar Posted May 2, 2004 Share Posted May 2, 2004 I'm at my cousin's house for the weekend and they've got viruses and spyware up to their eyeballs. I just closed like ten popups from the system. They have Ad Aware and Norton but they come back with little or no results. Does anyone know how I can get rid of this? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

As for Spyware etc. I run AVG to keep viruses out, as well as Zone Alarm to keep out hackers etc. Then every couple of days I run Adaware and Spybot S&D. Yes it's maintenance, and yes it means having things running constantly in the background, but these days it's just one of those things that can't be avoided if you want a secure system... B.
