But how many actual discussions are there directly relating to video games? Ah, precisely the point here. G4 was a horrible idea. A television channel dedicated solely to video games? How could a person line up programming without watering down the content. It'd be impossible. The way TechTV works is that it covers all aspects of technology. Just by throwing in more gaming shows, you're already throwing off that fine balance. What this merge means is that now instead of one great show about gaming, we're going to get four or five watery, less-than-satisfactory shows about gaming. Rapture. Couldn't have said it better.
