Hs turned into this crap. and now I'm getting error pages and id shows called "The Thunderbirds" where I used to have my good ol' Call for Help. Lousy G4, taking over my TechTV. The programming also sucks. Both TV and Website. The TV schedule is informmercials, crappy nerd game shows, xplay, the screensavers, weird stuff, and more informercials. And the website gives all these errors like so. Microsoft Active Server Pages error '800a0001' IMDB has no document elemnt. Perhaps you need to Publish IMDB? It has my all my favorite shows from TechTv( I loathed Call For Help) and the shows from G4 are pretty good too(namely Pulse and that one with trailer clips). Also, crappy nerd game shows?! you're on a game forum dissing shows for discussing games? *laughs at the irony and hypocracy* I got an idea... get over it, they supply you with free entertainment, and tech knowledge. I guess you weren't around before it was tech-tv though were you.... I do have to admit I can't remember what the name was before, seeing as it was about 3 or 4 years ago. But I remember when they switched to being tech tv it was just the same as it's going through now. I have to say, I'm rather glad they're now G4Techtv. There seemed to be a bunch of clip episodes, especially for X-play. Call for help was getting way too weird for me, and Wired for Sex was aiming at my horny side. Edit- ZD-Tv, yeah that's it. Tell me. What is the view like from up there? Yes, this is indeed a forum for video games. But how many actual discussions are there directly relating to video games? Ah, precisely the point here. G4 was a horrible idea. A television channel dedicated solely to video games? How could a person line up programming without watering down the content. It'd be impossible. The way TechTV works is that it covers all aspects of technology. Just by throwing in more gaming shows, you're already throwing off that fine balance. What this merge means is that now instead of one great show about gaming, we're going to get four or five watery, less-than-satisfactory shows about gaming. Rapture.
