Joshi Posted June 2, 2004 Posted June 2, 2004 I'm only interested in SQ6 and that's like 300mb's big so i really can't be asked.
Skinkie Posted June 3, 2004 Posted June 3, 2004 I already gots em all, I'm so proud. If you don't this might be a good time to change that.
Akril Posted June 10, 2004 Posted June 10, 2004 Ah yes, the gateway series that eventually led to MI for me... 'Course, I've got the complete collection now...the legal one, that is. "Thank you for purchasing SQ6! You did purchase it, didn't you? Oh, of course you did. You sure couldn't be like one of those weasels who would make ILLEGAL COPIES...You're too cool for THAT." --Narrator Akril
SamNMax Posted June 12, 2004 Author Posted June 12, 2004 It is legal. Why wouldn't it be? It's from Spacequest.net. Anyway, that was your last chance to expiriance this great series.
Joshi Posted June 13, 2004 Posted June 13, 2004 As far as I can see, Space Quest 4 is still actually selling, so I don't know if it's illegal or not.
SamNMax Posted June 13, 2004 Author Posted June 13, 2004 It says on the site that all Space Quest games are abandonware.
Joshi Posted June 13, 2004 Posted June 13, 2004 Okay, so I was about to go onto Amazon and prove you wrong, but for some reason, it couldn't find it, so i guess it is abandonware.
Skinkie Posted June 14, 2004 Posted June 14, 2004 I think Sierra is trying to erase any signs that they ever put out decent adventure games. Soon Lucasarts will follow and try to cover up that there was ever a Sam and Max 1. Or any other game. They claim "Hey all we've done from the start is Star Wars, we have no idea what these 'adventure games' you keep bringing up are."
Joshi Posted June 14, 2004 Posted June 14, 2004 "Lucasarts?! Who the hell are they? We're Lucasfilms's 'Star Wars Gaming Division', I have no idea what you're talking about, this LucasArts!"
