Mountainforest
People visiting these forums should have noticed a weird battle is going on, even before battlefront is out. Multiple clans just seem to think they are the best clan around. It's really weird their leaders don't seem to be aware of the fact, that every clan has it own strong and weak points, so it's pointless to say your own clan is the best. For exaple, a weak point of our clan ORG is that it doesn't has lot's of people to choose from like, or lots of people with experience making clans. But our strong points are that we are able to make a clan like we want it, with much of new ideas I haven't seen in any other clan and that we are very organized. You guys have to see that every clan has it strong and weak points, so you can't say one is better as another. About our prestations in the battle field: we will see who's the strongest when the game comes out, and I like lucasforums to still be a strong comunity when we reach that point, so we can still be "brother clans" as we were the first ones created, a point we have in common. The reason why I created this thread is to make a point (see the above) and to use this as a "peace conference room", cause the recruiting forums aren't the place to discuss this. Maybe you guys should give a list of strong and weak points of your clan, just like I did above.

boranchistanger
This is rediculous, why in the heck are we debating about the best clan. Those were great pointsjasperw and I will also agree that all clans, even the IEF, has weak points. I will say that an IEF weak point is that it uses free domains for the forums and website. Though there is not a significant difference between free and not free the not free still requires you to type that extra .greatnow. -Boran
yaebginn
and HD's weak point is that it has few members and that one of their members was rude to IEF.

I'm only observing the "you're a immature clan" and "no, we are the first clan ever created" stuff, and my conclusion is you're kind of arguining who's the best. Mountainforest
Originally posted by VanLingo jasper, I'm with you on this point. In the netherlands we would say your opinion is "kort maar krachtig" (short but powerfull). And here the new clan information. It's a kind of clan report too, but we've put together (dutch version can be found in our thread) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Clan Information (update 1) Outer Rim Garrison is a clan with a few new ideas, where only Dutch and Belqian people can become a member of. This garantuees low pings and an easy communication and the possibilities making training times without having to think of somebody from New Zealand. Because we are here early (It takes half a year before you can buy the game), and because 16 members is the maximum clan size, we will become a frienly group of elite soldiers who know each other and can count on each other (and in the training, shoot on each other) on the battlefield. I said friendly, So we won't have rankings and that sort of stuff which would only give us internal competition. we do have training, ladders (a bit of internal competition won't hurt us), different specialisations and we want everybody in this clan to have its own things to take care of (I'll discuss this later on). At last, I'd like to say that everything menioned above and below is under preserve. The game hasn't been released yet, so we won't know whether our (brilliant) ideas are going to work. Also, ideas of future clan members can change the whole idea (we won't want unchangeable rules) (that's why this is called clan information update 1). It's been a while since we released our previous clan update, and a lot has happened since then. Not only we've grown bigger, we also have worked on the other aspects of the clan. We've launched a propaganda campqign and we have introduced a task sistem. We also have a website (http://www.orgclan.nl.tt). These are just a few of the changes we can talk about. Let's start with the official part, notice this has changed too. the conditions to join are: --you must speak Dutch. --We only play with the PC, so you must have one. A headset makes things easy. --Profanity is stil prohibited since the last update. --If we train (we don't completely agree with the training times) you should be there. --You must do something for the clan, even if you're not on the battlefield. We've made a task system (discussed later) so every member must do something. What sort of clan are we?: --As mentioned before, we have a maximum of 16 members. We'd like to have the maximum number of members now, So we get to know each other a bit. --We don't have ranks. We want to be a friendly group of people. This means everybody has got something to say (en has got to say something). --In the clan, everybody has his task. We either have something you may do alone, or you must do it with somebody else. The different tasks we have now are: -ORG counsel (Makes the clan ideas). -trooper recruitment (ensures us with new members). -ORG tactical office (makes tactics from the ideas of other members). -ORG outpost (keeps the contact with other clans). -ORG computer service (provides the forum and site with maintenance). --You also have your own task on the battlefield. you have to specialize yourself into one of the four groups. This is your primary choice, you can choose from assault, heavvy wepaons, scout, and support (The type of soldier being a medic, pilot, and engineer). Special units are going to be placed in one of the groups above after the release of the game. But in contrary to other clans you not only make a primary choice, in ORG you also make a secundary choice. This type of soldier you also play, but less than your primary choice. We've made this system to ensure nobody in this clan gets bored from being al the same anytime. It might also come in handy for tactics. The other clans has a certain number of scouts, pilots, etc. ORG is able to change things with everybody having two classes, which is useful for making tactics. This is it, we'll release a new update soon. If you want an accurate vision of what we do, visit the news page on our site (http://www.orgclan.nl.tt), or our fora (http://members.lycos.nl/antakah666/phpBB2/). If you have a question, go to the embassy. (http://members.lycos.nl/antakah666/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=16). If you want to become a member mail our clan leader Antakah(ffvii_andy@Hotmail.com). I hope you are informed, we'll heare it otherwise. ORG clan Clan for Dutch and Belgian people. Special thanks go to Milan L. for translating it from dutch. VanLingo
Hey, if you all want to get into some kind of "My Clan Is The Best" advertising war, that's fine. But whiny threads like this one ("The best clan", come on...) are gonna pop up everywhere.
