Doomie Posted June 7, 2004 Posted June 7, 2004 Alright, i know you can pick what team you're on (Right?) But i mean, in the trailers, the episode one and two planets all show battles between factions from that era. So my question is: Can you also play rebels or imps in Naboo and Kamino?
Sabretooth Posted June 7, 2004 Posted June 7, 2004 Yes, definetly, but most servers will allow only classic battles.
yaebginn Posted June 7, 2004 Posted June 7, 2004 probably for quick skirmishes that are just for fun. but I honestly have no clue.
Sabretooth Posted June 8, 2004 Posted June 8, 2004 C'mon this is crazy. I think you will be able to. Atleast a patch or something will be released, to let you. But yet, most servers will prefer classic battles and stick to them. The servers featuring cross-armies will be considered separately. Developers better add that feature, or there's gonna be atleast one angry fan.

Kasan Moor Posted June 8, 2004 Posted June 8, 2004 Originally posted by tFighterPilot WTF, I didn't say the prequals weren't good, I say it won't be good to mix them i agree Battledroids against Stormtroopers... how stupid is that?
yaebginn Posted June 8, 2004 Posted June 8, 2004 it could be fun. I mean, just for messing around. I think it would be entertaining for quick skirmishes and stuff. like you and your firend or something.

JamesNI Posted June 9, 2004 Posted June 9, 2004 Actually, I would enjoy pitting the Stormtroppers against they're fathers, the clone army. On Hoth! THat would be coool!
$Michiel$ Posted June 9, 2004 Posted June 9, 2004 Clone: "stormtrooper, I'm your father" Would be cool though to play any team you want against any other team.
P-Duffy Posted June 9, 2004 Posted June 9, 2004 This would make sense to a degree, there were lots of TF battle droids after EPIII (all deactivated, most on geonosis) we know this because of 1. the geonosis mission in RSIII:Rebel Strike, probably 90+ droids 2. the corrilian corvette dungeon in SWG, 3 super battle droids and about 3 normal battle droids 3. (and probably the best example) the Death Watch Bunker of SWG, it must have 50+ super battle droids and over 70 battle droids 4 (to a lesser degree) the geonosian lab from SWG, it has a few dozen droidekas. But the republic fighting rebels or imps would be total nonsense, if the devs dont add it in someone will mod it though.
lukeiamyourdad Posted June 9, 2004 Posted June 9, 2004 The game is going to be balanced according to classic battles. Rebels will be balanced against Empire and Clones against Droids. Mixing them up might just be unbalanced.
