Nevhision
If I had the choice between XBOX and PS2, I'd get the XBOX. It doesn't have as good games as the ps2, but it has 4 person multiplayer, and looks better. Plus all my friends have PS2 so I get to play those games anyways. Plus Xbox is this american console. yaebginn
Some americans think that it's patriotic or something to be made in the U.S. I, personally, think that Americans make well made products in some areas. I dont believe Xboxes or alot of electronics are some of them. cars, yes, electronics, not so much.
Sounds Risky
Well I bought an Xbox because of the games for it, nothing on the PS2 that I can't get elsewhere interests me. If I were to buy another console it would probably be a Gamecube.
VanLingo
I'm a PS2 gamer, also hoping that Battlefront takes the front spot in my library over SOCOM 2. tFighterPilot -- don't be confused. To third-person gamers (such as myself), there is a major difference between that and first-person. For example, I didn't care for the first two Dark Forces games near as much as I did Shadows of the Empire. I think the major difference is that it's a lot easier to see in third-person, but on a PC it controls wierd. In any case, Battlfront should appeal to FPS gamers, TPS gamers, strategy gamers, flight sim fans, vehicle combat fans, and Star Wars fans. There's never really a reason to ask why someone is interested in Battlefront, so long as they're here.
joesdomain
If I buy another console system it will be whatever system has the most Star Wars games coming out at that time. I am hoping it will be Playstation 3 at the end of 2005.
yaebginn
I hope there never is a ps3. then I'd have to fish out another 200 bux for another system.

joesdomain
I would shell out more money for another Sony console system. They are high quality systems. I haven't had a Sony product to date fail on me. That also includes TV's, VCR's, Camcorders, DVD Players, and my PS1 and PS2. Microsoft won't get my money! I dislike Bill Gates. joesdomain
My PC is out of date. Because I am poor college student. I don 't have the luxury of spending money on a new computer. I don't think I can upgrade my video card. It is a Intel 8MB that came with my Dell computer when I bought it. Plus even if I could upgrade my video card I don't have the computer knowledge to know the correct way to install a video card. I just like using console system like Sony for games only. Computers should be used for internet, word processing, etc. Yes I have Windows 98 SE.

No doubt that some aspects of the game will be better in first person and others better in thrid. But from what I gather from the developer interviews both won't be ideal in every situation. So if you are expecting to use third person all the time you might find that it is less than ideal in some cases. And Toady121, lose the caps. yaebginn
well, if Conflict Desrt storm, its mainly third person, but for sniping, and aiming an rpg, you can use first. thats what I'll do.
fuzzyfreaker
flying, just flying: Third person Flying in battle: First Person Land: First Person. Unless they have some really nice aiming reticle, it's first person 4 me.

JamesNI
After playing SOCOM 2 for so long, I don't know what mode I will play in, first or third. I will have to get a feel for it.... Ideally, I would think of first person for general movement and shooting and third person for vehicles. But, I really don't know, I will really have to see how the game plays and make the decision on that!

fuzzyfreaker
I don't understand the multi-tap, do we really need to make a two player console and then just to make extra money make a multi-tap? JUST MAKE A 4 PERSON CONSOLE
joesdomain
I played multiple only when I played Quake II and I believe Quake III. I think it was both of them. I know we did when we played on Playstation One.
