joesdomain
I could care less whether or not which version has the best graphics because I am looking for a game that matches my needs and wants. I have a PS2 and they are coming out with a version. I don't need to spend another 1000-2000 dollars to get a new computer to play the PC version or another 150 for a X-box just to be able to run on it's own harddrive or whatever Xbox has. Plus I am a loyal Sony customer. Microsoft it a computer company and it doesn't have an established reputation in my opinion.

Well of course you don't need to also buy an X-Box when you got a PS2, that would be redundant. The main advatage of the X-Box, as far as I know, is the graphics. The PC has better graphics and better control. And of course can support more peopoe in multiplayer.
yaebginn
and for 200 bucks, you can get the ps2 with internet adapter. nextstep, you have posted two things and they are exactly the same. thats a little odd.

joesdomain
Sony lowered the price of PS2. Why would anyone want to buy Star Wars Battlefront on more than one version? They all should be the same in content. I highly doubt the PC version will have a different maps or levels than PS2 or X-box.

yaebginn
in your opinion. In my opinion, the ps2 gameplay will be better. It all depends on your preference.
tFighterPilot
Consoles have this stupid auto aim, that takes all the skill out of the game.
yaebginn
depends on what game you play. most do, but depends on what difficulty setting it's on, it can make a very small difference, like only pointing you in the gebnral direction.
tFighterPilot
It's still more than in the PC

joesdomain
I have always had personal troubles getting used to playing on my PC using a keyboard. I don't have a gamepad or joystick so that was never an option. I always ended up playing with my mouse. The PS2 controller felt alot better than using the keyboard/mouse combination on the star wars games.
THE BADGER:
I have a PS2 and a PC. But my PC sucks. So I'll buy the PS2 version. Lucasarts.com said that the PS2 version is further along anyway so maybe it will be released earlier. Here's hopeing. My handle on SW:B will be BADGER so you guys can find me when it is released. I will be online the first day it comes out, along with most of everybody that posts here. LOL

THE BADGER:
I like the PC and all but I still like the feel of my PS2 controller over the mouse when it come to games. PC are great but as soon as you buy one they are already out of date. Then you either have to update it or buy another one. Nither of those two options is cheap either. With a console, every game on the shelve will play with your console. You don't have to worry about system requirments. And the console will work for about 3-4 years before it needs to be updated. I would rather spend $300(PS2, network adapter,HDD) than spending $1500 on a new PC.
Sharpshooter
Actually, you can get it with the network adaptor for only $149.99! And I can relate to what they're saying! I bought a joystick for Jedi Acadamey! It's so weird man!
THE BADGER:
Yeah when I bought my PS2 it was $200. It is funny when I look at the main forum page I see my name all the way down. I'm at work and I'm bored out of my mind. The only thing that has been on my mind for the past week has been Sept. 21. I can't wait for this game ever since I read about it in the Playstation magazine. I mean I will acutally get to battle in Starwars. Ever since I was a kid I always wanted to get into a AT-ST lol. Mow me down some ewocks!
