Son_of_the_Sith Posted August 11, 2004 Posted August 11, 2004 I'll be using the TIE fighter but I don't like the fact that there is no interceptor in game, why dammit why (Sadly)?, I mean no interceptor then how the hell I'm supposed to bring those Antilles wannabees down (I'll be using the Empire)? I'm gonna have a lot of trouble against those X-wings.

I'm gonna have a lot of trouble against those X-wings. If you can't do it with Tie Fighter, then you ain't no worthy. Tie Interceptor are simply a better model of the Tie Fighter.
Super Clone Posted August 12, 2004 Posted August 12, 2004 The Imperials made the Interceptor to directly deal with X-wings. They also needed a faster vehicle for battles.
Virtuosis Posted August 12, 2004 Posted August 12, 2004 Hah, hopefully it won't depend on whats better it'll be all skill. Unless they make it so the X-wing is better than the tie fighter, than you should be able to take one down if you are a better pilot... if not, well you know...

Son_of_the_Sith Posted August 12, 2004 Posted August 12, 2004 I´m just saying that x-wing pilots will bring ties down a little more easely (skills apart) cause they are shielded and are faster than the ties, ou and before I forget I saw a RT (Republic tank or whatever its name is) in battlefront official site (In the intro) ,does that mean will be using it? ()

() I believe Tie Fighter is faster, and it's obviously more maneuverable.

And the only problem I can ever remember with pre-ordering a game was with everquest. When they preordered one of the expansions. Their character would be reduced several levels and couldn't use any of their level specific gear.

I did want the Tie Advanced, Tie Inteceptor, A-wing, Imperial Lambda Shuttle, and B-wing in the game! They still could put those has general ships and vehicles like the cloud city ships.

General ships mean they are neutral. All of the ships you mentioned are NOT neutral. I really like the AT-PT! I like it better than the AT-ST anyway. But not more than the AT-AT I have no idea why I space each sentence out, I need to lose the habit before school starts up again
