Flying Beastie
Hell no. That anthem sucks. Wouldn't mind finding an MP3 of that rock version of "Maple Leaf Forever" that Molson used as its add jingle a few years back (before the "I am" phenomenon). It was "Maple Leaf Forever" played up-tempo on electric guitar. Only versions I can find are either classic (small orchestra, played "properly") or the one that's been co-opted by the hockey team (stadium organ, same tempo). Gold leader
Erm, this thread is a nice excuse to mention that I plan on arriving in Canada at the end of this month, for an internship of 16 weeks at the Carleton University. You have been warned
Flying Beastie
Carleton U, Ottawa campus? If you meet an offensively tall R.A. who tries to quote Star Trek to you, tell him I said hi. Yeah, we're from the same town.

Commander 598
Everyone knows that the only thing that could cause the universe to collapse is a being with 999999999999999x999999999959999 brain cells. And you call yourselves smart!
Flying Beastie
Actually, the going theory on another board is that the end of the universe will involve Kaylee (from Firefly) and Willow (from Buffy) being in the same room together. Possibly Purple-Trance (from pre-fall Andromeda) would also be present. 'Verse was never designed to hold that much concentrated cuteness in such a small area. Will do, but as I am 6'6" I doubt that I will be offended by his physique. I don't fear the collapse of the universe; Sahid al-Sahaf and I will simply deny it and live happily ever after.
