Mana Dragon Posted July 5, 2004 Posted July 5, 2004 I have started making a neat model from the series Breath of Fire, here's what I'm trying to make: http://ps2media.ign.com/ps2/image/bof_011503_3.jpg Neat huh? Difficult? Kinda. Actually, I've made my own model, sort of. I've moved verticies around and stuff, I've done a bit of skinning by opening jpgs and painting them over. I want to give my model to someone else to finish it for me. I have icons and sounds for the model, and I've painted over some of the legs and the hair and claws. The reason I want to give this to someone else to finish is because theres alot of confusing crap in modeling that I just don't understand. I'm not too bright on stuff about weighing and bones and putting it on a skeleton, capping, UVW mapping and I'm all confused. If anyone is willing to finish something somewhat half way done, I exported the model as a 3DS. I have used trial versions of Milkshape and 3DS Max 6, and I have like 20 days left for the both. Contact me at BushidoLeo@hotmail.com and I will try my best and hand over what I've done so far and pass it on. If needed, I'll export the model as a different file extension. Anyone willing to finish is a really awesome dude. Thanks in adv
LightNinja Posted July 5, 2004 Posted July 5, 2004 i did read it, but if you put a picture of your model it would help a bit.
Miko Reglia Posted July 6, 2004 Posted July 6, 2004 You don't need to bump a thread twice in a 4 hour period...
LightNinja Posted July 6, 2004 Posted July 6, 2004 at least put the f*cking screenshot and maybe someone like me would like to weight it if is nice, but it think that yours is just a box..

Spaniard, you're getting more and more aggressive with each passing post. Is something wrong? Btw, Mana, post a picture already.
Mana Dragon Posted July 13, 2004 Author Posted July 13, 2004 Sorry, I'm a few days late, I was continuing to attempt making the model myself. The reason there are 2 bumps it because I uploaded the pics on geocitites, but of course, they didn't work. So I editted, my bad for being a moron I'm getting another way to upload the pictures. Actually, all I really need is to get just a simple trial version of 3DS Max 3 or 4, possibly 5 so the .xsi plugin will work. I used 3DS Max 6 to make my model, move around verticies and stuff. IF anyone would want to take what I've done and finish it, that's cool dudes, but if anyone can get me JUST a trial of 3DS Max 3 or 4, that'd be great! I'm just half way through. I WILL GET A PICTURE HERE SOON. I have screenshots from 3DS Max and Milkshape and I'm getting help from a buddy to upload them. Excuse my idiocy
Psyk0Sith Posted July 13, 2004 Posted July 13, 2004 Well it's not your fault, geocities doesnt allow direct linking for images, i think dragging the url or "copy/paste" will load the file.
Mana Dragon Posted July 13, 2004 Author Posted July 13, 2004 http://tff.5u.com/Attempt1.JPG http://tff.5u.com/Attempt2.JPG Grr they didn't work. I'm still trying, sorry.
Mana Dragon Posted July 13, 2004 Author Posted July 13, 2004 Oh, wait, psyk0 is indeed a genius:cool: Just copy the urls you see and paste them in the adress bar, if you want, I'll try and get a better view. The part I'm stuck at is just getting a skeleton myself, but I'm stuck, so . . . yeah.
