Hitting moving targets?

If you are a heavy weapons class and you are trying to hit a ship above you how hard do you think it will be to hit it?

but depending on the angle i say you would be lucky to hit it

Yep, try hitting a helicopter with a rocket. Unless it's stationary, chances are you ain't gonna hit it. To say nothing of hitting an X-wing or tie fighter with a blaster or a rocket. You might hit one if you have rapid fire, but i don't think it'll do much or any damage.

In a screenshot I have seen a droid heavy weapons hit a republic gunship.Ill try to find it.

well, hopefully we'll have no homing crap in here. That way, it'll actually be a challenge to hit people. Anyone ever play Online in James Bond: Nightfire? That was horrible, everyone had homing things. Ugh. Anyway, if they do have homing it should be Halo 2 style, have to keep your sights on the vehicle, which leaves you standing there, wide open to be shot.

Sniping moving ppl is easy for me........But hitting moving aircraft is next to impossible. unless its hovering.......Maybe it wont be as hard as it was in bf 1942.....Hitting jets with stingers was next to impossible but helis were difficult but were attainable shots

the rebel vanguard has two rocket shots after each other, i reckon i could hit things with that each time. trouble is dealing with the fire from that vehicle and infantry around you

of course its impossible a sniper bullet always goes faster than a rocket getting shot at a moving target ,moving ppl are an exception there way slower than anything youd shoot with a rocket launcher.

i dont know, it wasn't too hard for he to his a banshee with a tank or rocket launcher in halo, so i dont know how hard it will be in this game.

From wat i seen in the trailers and map footage........those fighters and planes werent moving that fast...Think about it some looked they were going slow...If their slow theyll be way too easy hit

 

maybe u control throttle speed in swbf........in bf1942 it was kinda hard to maintain a certain speed unless u had a joytick...it was full speed or cutting the engine.

I hope there is not autoaim. the MAF should be easy to hit. but other ships, maybe not. I have no clue how it'll work.

i think the rocket launcher will be homing. in the trailer a rocket turns to hit a jet-pack clone.

hover,s but it does have some weird circular thing on top that looks like blades moving fats, but its solid. its the star wars vesion of a helicopte.r
