MachineCult
You're a child darthkangaroo, the love scenes were essential to the story (more so than Han and Leia). Grow up.
PoiuyWired
well, but they are poorly made... obviously bad acting is the problem, but also Geogie Lucas' Bad script when it comes to love scenes.
edlib
The romance scenes were a bit necessary for Luke and Leia to be Anakin's children... unless you are willing for Ep. III to be really, really dark and have a rape scene in it on top of everything else. And even that wouldn't really work, since we have to believe that Vader actually cares about Luke in Ep. V and VI. The dialog and some of the acting were clunky, but the scenes served their purpose: Getting Anakin and Padme together. You couldn't just go through the whole movie with Anakin away from Padme and involved in non-stop action sequences, and then at the end, out of nowhere, show them getting married. Everybody would have said "Huh?!?? How did that happen?!??" So, like it or not, you have to have romance in there somewhere.

Nedak
I think that ROTS was to mushy, my dad laughed when she said "can't you see your breaking my heart" lol. That would have been funny if when Anakin was cutting here food that after he cut it he threw it at here lol.. Maybe thats only funny to me tho..
