Kylilin
So, we finally know the title of the next installment in the Star Wars saga, what do you think of it? I guess it fits in with all the other titles, its definitely not as bad as Attack of the Clones.
Admiral Odin
I like the title myself and it is fitting for the series.
Keyan Farlander
It's a good title. Then again, anything would be better than "Attack of the Clones." Damn that was stupid.
Dr Edison 007
Heh, George Lucas likes titles that sound like old B-Movies, doesn't he?
edlib
Yep. I believe that was very intentional, since GL always intended Star Wars to be a modern update to all those Flash Rogers/ Buck Gordon serial sci-fi flicks he grew up with as a kid. In that light, even "Attack of the Clones" is in keeping with the genre. Just be glad it was clones he chose, and not "Mole People", or "Slime Monsters"... Revenge Of The Sith is just fine by me... although someone pointed out it abbriviates to ROTS... which might not be such a great omen. *(And yes,.. I do know what I wrote above)*
Keyan Farlander
The problem with "Attack of the Clones" (aside from it being a stupid title) is that it is very misleading. It makes it seem the the clones are the bad guys or something.
edlib
True, that. But for those of us who happen to know how the story ends that's not that far off the mark. (Is it possible that GL chose to leave it ambiguous for that very reason??? That would be surprisingly clever of him if that were true.) It's still a stupid title though... I'll give you that. A lazy one too. I still can't believe that he couldn't find ANYTHING better...
Keyan Farlander
I suspect he just wanted to make it something nobody expected. He learned his lesson and didn't do that again, thankfully.
Jabba The Hunt
Apparently Mr Lucas wanted to prove he could make different types of films with the second trilogy, this is apparently how its supposed to go... Episode 1- a kids film. Episode 2- a love film (not sure how much it was supposed to be like this, but it is kinda) Episode 3- a war film, if this is true then episode 3 is gonna be amazing
Gold leader
Ah, and where does Amidala getting pregnant fit into this? Ep 3 is the last opportunity for GL to tie all loose ends together. Let's just hope he doesn't screw up by forgetting some of them.
Dr Edison 007
Doesn't George plan to fix any plot holes he created in his "Ultimate Edition" of the original trilogy?
