The Air
In star wars battlefront, the seperatists have pilot droids to pilot the vehicles. thats fine for AAT's MTT's & STAP's, but the droid starfighter, hailfire droid, and spider droids are robots on their own, self-piloted. How will you drive these?
Alegis
Well they will act like vehicles. Clones will be able to pilot hailfires as if it were a normal vehicle. This is seen in one of the small videos

THE BADGER:
I'm sure the devs made cockpits and such for the game.

TK-8252
I guess the excuse for "piloting droids" will be that you are really just "controlling" the droid. Look at Jedi Outcast: in single player, there's a mission where you get to remotely-control an Imperial Mouse Droid and R5 units.

I once took a mouse droid and sped it up a ramp. I got pretty good air, too. verry enjoyable.
Alegis
TK i'm sure there are much more people that want to see hailfires in the game, usuable for both sides rather than those who want the game to be 100% correct and thus not have it or make it a class

Mountainforest
I think you really will be in the droid. It won't be realistic, but my guess is that it will still happen.

Me too, since I believe you will exit a vehicle where it stands, and not from the point where you 'took control' over it. Also, some poeple may think the droids will download themselves into such a vehicle. First off, that would become a problem if you would want to exit the vehicle (no body left) and secondly: Every player can use every vehicle (with the exception of special vehicles such as the AT-AT since it functions as a mobile spawnpoint) so clone troopers will also be able to use the seperatists vehicles. And they cannot download their memory banks

BurnsU
If the Hailfire droid and such weren't vehicles, imagine how unbalanced the game would be. You would have 16 huge droids with missles vs. 16 clones with standard rifles. That would be the most unfair thing ever. I'm glad they are vehicles, it is the only way it would work. Virtuosis
If both sides couldn't use it than it would be really unbalanced. Personally I would rather have a good balanced game rather than something that was totally real. But maybe thats just me...
The Air
i was thinking that only the droids would use it but now i guess with the missles and all it would be to easy for the CIS:bdroid2:
