Erin sighed in frustration. She knew she would make everyone late to the race, but too many people had ordered pizza. Finally, she reached the last house, but there was no answer. She returned to her car, grumbling as she went.

"What kind of person orders a pizza and isn't there to pick it up?" she complained. She then drove back to the pizza place and hurried toward Vincent's car.

"Sorry I'm late," she apologised. "Some idiot wasn't there to buy her pizza. Normally, she does okay, but..." her words trailed off when she saw Ian.

Jennifer concentrated hard on pulling into first but her rival was just to good, she had a feeling he knew more about this track then he let on, she swirved around a corner falling into third but quickly came back into first, she was on the second lap out of four, she had to beat him, she had to or else her dream would come true, she fought hard and got close, she pushed him to the side, she had to win, even if she had to use violence.

As luck (or some other coincidence) would have it, Erin and Ian ended up seated next to each other. Erin was slightly embarrased at her nervousness toward a man she didn't even know. He was clearly the man in her dream, but she was not entirely comfortable talking about that... Vincent was the only one who knew of her dream.

Jennifer pulled into first for a lap, it was the second last lap, she turned and drove hard, her rival close on her tail, he passed her on a corner and he went over a jump but he landed kind of bad, so jennifer went passed him, but someone from the pack bolted past her rival and her, she had no clue who he was, but didn't care, she had to win, she swirved around beside him, he took out a knife and threw it at her wheel, just as there were halfway through the last lap, he went over her handle bars and hit the ground hard, her bike went flying ont top of her, but she pushed it off and lay there, then she blacked out.

the next thing Jennifer knew was she was inside the stadiums medical center, getting her cuts taken care of, and her head wrapped in a bandage.

"who won" she asked in a huhsed voice

"Tanim" said one of the nurses, jennifer let out a sigh of relief, it wasn't the guy who made her crash, her rival won, thankfully, she sat up, she felt slight pains but she could walk, she was fine, she noticed her arm was numb, but also in a cast.

"it'll come off in 2 weeks" one of the nurses said, jennifer nodded and walked out of the medical center, only to be crowded by press, she backed up and went back inside the center

"i think i need some more rest, i'd rather go through that crash again then deal with those press."

Erin walked over and sat down next to Ian. Her silence was awkward, but she finally turned to him.

"You're only the second person to know about this," she began. "I have a dream that wakes me up at 4 AM every morning. I absolutely hate it, but I can't get it to stop. I'm trying to escape from these explosions and I run into a building. The building is exploding too and there is fire all around me. Just when it seems like I'm going to die, somebody I don't know grabs me by the arm and pulls me through a door I hadn't noticed. It leads to stairs and somehow we end up in the sewer system."

She paused, noticing that Ian's face was slightly pale. "Is something wrong?"

Ian shook his head and stared forwards as he took another sip of his Pepsi. He then started. "I walk outside, when I see explosions. I back off inside a building, where I see a girl. I drag her to the lower levels of the house and then the explosions start again. I wake up..." he said quietly and slowly. Then he takes a long drink of his Pepsi and turns to Erin. "What happens to me in the end?" he whispered and stared at Erin into the eyes

Erin had to remind herself to breathe. She and Ian had been having the same dream! The explosions, Ian dragging her underground... but that was where his dream ended. Hers continued for a little while, but she didn't have the heart to tell Ian what happened.

"I don't know," she lied, her voice tense. She avoided looking into his eyes, choosing to look at the things around her. "I wake up when the explosions start again and it's always 4 AM when I look at my clock."

Jennifer got up, she looked aroudn only to see one nurse

"do you have a back door, or a secret exit, i hate the press, its cool for the first week or 2, then it gets annoying"

"no secret exit, but we have a back door, over there, you never heard it form me though".

"alright" Jennifer said and chuckled a bit then walked through, she pulled on a sweater and put the hood up, and walked over to the stadium, she sat in the empty seats, and sighed, she saw the spot where she had fell, she got up and went over to a small bar, a few people were at it, but her hair and sweater covered her face, she sat down and boughta beer.
