RoxStar
Well, I just finished building my computer and when I pop in my Windows 2000 disk it'll install and then it says to restart my computer to coplete installation. So it restarts adn then it says Operating System not found. If I boot off of a CD then it redoes the installation. I've tried with other Operatin gsystems and it still does the same thing. Please Help!
Joetheeskimo
This happened to me once, and it turned out my harddrive was either incorrectly installed or damaged (it happened twice ). So, try reseating the IDE cables and starting over. If that doesn't make a difference, your HD might be damaged.
RoxStar
I stupidly set the CD-ROM Drive as Master.
Nerd_Annhilator
Yay for you. Make sure you have 2 IDE cables, on leading from the CD drive to the motherboard, and another leading from the HD to the motherboard. Otherwise you'll rpboably have to take any CD out of the drive to start up the computer. Happened to me. EDIT: Do this ONLY if you encounter that problem, otherwise you're fine.
