Neon
When there are 32 human players in the servers, will the npcs be kicked, or is it 32 human players + the NPCs?
Dragnarr
32 players + NPC, pretty confident about that.
Neon
Thank you very much.
Virtuosis
But thats just for PC, only 16 players per server for Console over the internet, any more and you'd have to go LAN.
Neon
I will only play the PC game
Jason Fett
NPC?
Dragnarr
NPC = Non Player Character, this means Ewoks, Gungans etc.
Jason Fett
Damnit so we wont get those bitches on console?
Virtuosis
We get npcs, we get everything a pc player does except for 32 players per server.
Neon
Wich NPCs will be there? -Ewoks -Gungans -Tuskens -Geonesians -Jawas Anything else?
Revlt Coranier
Hmm. I can't think of any more. Well, the Great Pit of Carkoon on the Tatooine map has a Sarlaac. I dunno if that really counts as a NPC.
Jason Fett
So what is their point in the game then?
Revlt Coranier
They just give more life to it, make it seem more active. The (ground) Battle of Endor wouldn't be as fun nor as realistic without Ewoks using their crude weapons and traps to effectively handicap the Imperials. Jason Fett
So they just mainly make booby traps and what not then?
singard
Originally posted by Jason Fett So what is their point in the game then? The Sand People just wreck havoc against all parties. Blinkin
i figured if you were playing endor on console there would be 8 imp humans, 8 imp npcs, 8 human rebs, 8 reb npc, then there would also be ewoks .... am i right? because the ewoks are there to balance out the at-st's so that wouldnt make sense if they gave the rebs 8 ewoks instead of 8 rebs
Carbon Freeze
Don't Forget the most important NPC's Vader and Luke who will come in and help out their respected sides during that battles as well. (They are a bonus I believe and only appear for a certain timeframe or something like that)
ShadoWraith
I wonder how fast they are, cuz if I see Vader coming I'm gonna run to the hills.
Virtuosis
I heard there would be more npcs than humans. Which would be favorable, but it would be nice to turn them off too. If Galactic Conquest isn't in multiplayer don't expect to see Hero Npc's either, thats the only way you can use them...
The Air
Wont all the non human soldiers be npcs to? Or are they called somthing else? Originally posted by ShadoWraith I wonder how fast they are, cuz if I see Vader coming I'm gonna run to the hills. I agree 2. ImpHater
ya i agree if vader does come RUN AWAY!!!but i think galactic conquest will be multyplayer cause i would like to own every planet and have the other team trapped on Hoth!!!!!
Revlt Coranier
The other guys on your team and your enemies are referred to as "bots". NPCs are characters you can't play as at all.
Syzerian
Well I'm sort of worried about these npcs. Take darth vader for example, how would you kill him? It would be like trying to go through JA with just guns. How do you think the special npcs should be handled? I personally think that you should not be able to kill them but they retreat after taking so much damage or when a timer runs out
TK-8252
Originally posted by Syzerian Take darth vader for example, how would you kill him? That's the thing - you can't. After a special NPC takes a certain amount of damage, they leave the battlefield. So don't expect to take out Vader at any time in Battlefront. Virtuosis
Yeah thats the only way you can get them off your bak to inflict enough damage. Its confirmed.
