Gal. Conquest Vs Battlefront???

I DL'd Gal. Conquest (BF1942 mod) this weekend and had a quick blast on it.

 

For those who have played both GC & the demo of Battlefront can you let me know the key differences?

 

i.e. in what way (if anything) is Battlefront better than GC.

There are major differences. Walking ATATs stuff like that. Still no offense but this thread needs to be locked. The last one had a nifty little flame war to it.

MAJOR difference: GC is a mod to an already existing game made in ppl's spare time and BF is a completely new game designed from the ground up as a SW game by a professional developer. I don't need to say anything else.

Doesn't mean the game is any good.... look what the Desert Combat or Eve of Destruction teams did for the Battlefield series.

 

Trauma Studios (Desert Combat) now somewhat work with DICE in developing Battlefield 2.

 

Don't see why this has to be "flamed"... the guy is simply asking a legitimate question. Some of those posts were intended to start trouble. Doesn't have to be that way.

 

In fact, it was the original poster in that other thread who started the all the crap in the first place.

True, and it wasn't intended as a flame. Just facts. I make no claims about the quality of either, as I in fact have played neither, except the demo of BF which I enjoyed immensely. Guess that could have clouded my response.
