Nathaniel_EPGS
Hi all! Nathaniel from EPG Servers here, and I just wanted to let the community know that EPG Servers will be having servers available as soon as possible once the game is released. Also the community that I own, EP Gamers Is seriously considering adding SWBF to our roster. We strive to be positive, dynamic influences in the communitites we are a part of, and look forward to playing with you! Thanks for reading!! Master William
do you mean servers for the PC?
Nathaniel_EPGS
Oops sorry, I didn't realize the consoles were in here as well. Yes for PC.
SITH_ShadowCat
I have an ill feeling that not many people will be playing the PC version. At least a lot of clans are choosing to play the PC version which is good, most of the TKer will be on PS2 any way (the more popular one). Well, as long as people are playing, I will be too. Lets hope that the number of players will at least reach 1000. Well if all goes well, then the PC version may be the place to be, despite what IGNorant says. Nathaniel_EPGS
I tend to take what IGN says with a grain of salt, they are extremely biased in most cases.
All_Mighty_Ewok
They are, but they do have a point, You pc guys have a crap-load of online shooters, both with and without vehicles. So for the pc, Battlefront isn't realy something new, it's already been done before. But for us console guys (particularly ps2, which is what i have) we've never had a battlefield- style shooter. We had socom and socom 2, but they didn't implement vehicles. Plus, if you own a console, you don't have to worry about upgrading your comp to play the latest games. Neon
2 questions: -Is this to hire servers or to buy? -How much is it then? -Thank you-
Nathaniel_EPGS
We haven't done any load testing as of yet, but I predict 16 man servers with free teamspeak and webhosting starting at 65 a month.
Scavenger
16? while you can play with 32? , i suggest you take the playernumber advantage and actually use it
Nathaniel_EPGS
We will offer from 16 to as many as the game allows. so we will have 16,22,28,32, etc packages. but not everyone can afford a 32 man server. They are rather expensive, even though we are less costly than anyone else. we charge 160 a month for a 32 man BFV, while most others charge 250+
RDX1
How did you get the dedicated files? I'll stick with my host that charges $25 a month for 24 players.

As for the files, we don't disclose how we do business.
RDX1
Since they haven't released file you have been a very bad boy. Since I have been with them a month so far with no issues, I'm sticking with them. Plus a few other people that run big servers use them too. Running JKA now, can't wait for Battlefront to be released. (They are self-managed, why the cost is so cheap)
Nathaniel_EPGS
Since they haven't released file you have been a very bad boy. (SIGH) no, no we haven't. I pick up my copy on Tuesday like everyone else.

swphreak
Advertising is against rules. And honestly... who would pay a hundred bucks for 16 players when you can host yourself for free?

Servers will get their spot to post info soon, its just that advertising in own topics is against rules (would be too chaotic)
