They make a lot of good stuff and the item descriptions say they are an insect like race but what do they look like. I would imagine them sort or mantis like and beetle like and purple ecspecially purple. I dont know why but Verpine reminds me of Purple. well what do you guys think
sith_master2000 Posted September 28, 2004 Posted September 28, 2004 To be honest I never even gave the Verpine a second thought, the only thing I thought about them was: 'Hmmm they make good visors.' Maybe they're some sort of Humanoid Bug-like race, that's how I would imagine them.

I just checked the information on that site and it is in line with the West End Games D6 PnP RPG Rules. What the link says is the proper information on the Verpine, and is consistant with the WEG Galaxy Guide 4 Alien Races information.

God why does the word Verpine remind me of purple. too bad there is no way to make Verpine in the game it would be awesome. visit the roche asteroids. or maybe meet a verpine exploring space. The Verpine are just the tip of the iceberg of the bounty of different Alien Races that West End Games added into Star Wars EU for us all. Some of my favorites are; Duinougwuins (Star Dragons, Natural Force Users) Togorians (Feline-oid Warrior Aliens) Squibs (Jawa sized Humanoid Schnouzers, Space Wheeler-Dealers) Ugors (Human Sized Single Celled Ameoba-Like Aliens, Enemies of the Squibs, Spacebourne Junk Dealers) Sedrians (Humanoid Torso-ed Seal-Like Aquatic Aliens, Guardians of The Golden Sun) Barabel (Lizard-Like Humanoid Warrior Aliens) Defel (AKA "Wraiths", or living shadows, they can only be seen by using ultraviolet sight systems, they can only see in the UV spectrum, and they make some of the strongest metal alloys in the SW Galaxy) And My Personal Favorite; The Coynites (A Big Humanoid Species, very Mandalorian/Klingon-like they have a strong sense of honor, they are warriors, and they respect anyone with force powers) There are a ton of additional ones too! NOTE: The Golden Sun is a massive coral reef on Sedri that is a living nexus of force energy. SW D6 PnP RPG Terms: Merely being exposed to it will make a non-force sensitive person become force sensitive, and those that are force sensitive/force using it will actually grant them an initial or additional die (1D) of the Force Skill, Sense. VE stands for Virtual Enterprise, Dobberman (the guy whos making it) said it would be out in a month or two, now it's been 3 years, 2 months and a few weeks!

Nope... they are bugs... really big... bugs... build good equipment though, supposedly they built the B-Wing Fighter. Once I used the term RAID around them, they all looked at me strangely... Then I proceeded to use the term Black Flag and they all ran, screaming, away from me in terror! I guess it could have been something I said.
