tk102
For those part-time programmers out there who may be interested in developing GFF manipulation utilities for KotOR and other Bioware GFF formatted files, I've released an ActiveX component which may be of interest to you. Download: http://www.pcgamemods.com/mod/7921.html/ Once you have run the installer, the ActiveX component, gff_ctrl.dll, will be copied to your System32 folder and registered. You may then begin using it as a Reference (listed as "GFF Object Factory"). Documentation, a sample VB6 application, and an uninstaller are also provided for your convenience. You have permission to redistribute this .dll with any utility you make so long as you retain my copyright notice in both your source code and in any documentation you produce. I may also release other file manipulators for ERF/RIM/BIFs if there is any interest.
Darth333
That is a great piece of work and the readme is perfectly done. All the essential info is there :0 Thanks again for your contribution to this community I'll make some silly experiments during the weekend
tk102
Thanks Darth333. Per your suggestion, I submitted this to nwvault -- the Neverwinter community may find use for it as well.
Joris1
Hey tk102, Is there a chance to get the .dll anywhere else? I searched on nwvault but I didn't find it. PCGameMods is down, so... . I would be glad, if it would be possible. Best regards Joris
Robespierre
Why don't you just use the KGFF editor? There's a link around here somewhere... EDIT: http://www.starwarsknights.com/tools.php there. Its TK102's.
Darkkender
Why don't you just use the KGFF editor? There's a link around here somewhere... EDIT: http://www.starwarsknights.com/tools.php there. Its TK102's. The dll is a resource for programmers who may be making there own utility it is not a gff editor itself. @Joris1 I'll look around my archives and see if I still have a copy of this resource and I'll PM you a link if I do.
