Thrik
Half-Life 2 is beyond brilliant. HL2DM is on a similar level of greatness, although it needs some more maps (being worked on though, so no problem). The upgraded Hammer is awesome too. The fact that the water looks so pretty in the editor is enough reason for it to be respected as the king.
James Isaac
I've been working with and getting used to the SDK for most of the past few days (aswell as playing DM of course ), and it is really great - there is just so much that is possible with the engine. There's a load of code for weapons, enemies etc. that weren't included in the final game too (at first glance I can see code for the Hydra), and I think the models for them are in the gcf files. I wonder if it would be possible to get these working in a mod... And, I've been working on the Grim Fandango HL2 mod too . We're doing the maps and models at the moment Nice bridge by the way

Sanspoof
I want to help on the GFHL mod, but my skills with any game development aren't really good enough for use with the HL2 engine . I'd like to find some way to help, though.
James Isaac
If you could do the 3D modelling in any program (I'm sure there will be a converter to the Softimage program), then that would be a great help Email me and we can sort something out
