jon_hill987
Does anyone know of any freeware programs for downloading, that can be cut off and then continue to download when the conection comes back? my wireless conection is a bit temprmental sometimes, which is funking anoying when you are trying to download anything larger than 10Mb. Alegis
I'd first say download accelerator plus; but apparently if you dont register it it wont always resume your download >: ( The program i used before DAP is what i'm using now again, getright. You'll see that it downloads faster and at a stable speed since download programs open more than 1 connection.
•-BLaCKouT-•
Yup, I like GetRight It hassles you with 'buy me, buy me' reminders, but doesn't stop you from using it. B.
jon_hill987
Thanx, getright seems to work fine, I wsn't really bothered about the speed of the download just not having to start again. and it seems to be able to resume a download after the conection has been broken, and it's faster. Astrotoy7
yep, us poor 56k'ers have to use download managers I've tried DAP and flashget, theyre OK, but getright is just what I want it to be - if that makes sense.... mtfbwya
