"Glad you're having fun. I'm gonna look around here, you look for anything like a transport, and if you see any enemy troops, grab 'em. They may have some info."

He started looking around. He found some blaster marks, but these could've been from the battle, until he found a fine powder around one. This effect was only caused by stun blasts. He reported this in.

"All right, it appears they've captured him. There's nothing we can do now. Come back over here, your friend Trent took our bait, we're staging the show now."

Troezen was tired. The people holding him obviously knew that he was awake because they started doing strange things in the room - such as keep the lights flashing for hours and there was some strange music ((heavy rock)).

He was becoming weary and agitated.

He was not going to fall to the dark side. He was not going to fall to the dark side. he was not going to fall to the dark side.

He kept telling himself that. He knew he wouldnt not like Trent. Trent was everything he must not become!

"Pure torture, isn't it?" a voice near Troezen spoke. What had appeared to be a pile of rags in a corner began to move and turned into a young woman with hair so blonde it was nearly white. Her eyes were a pale silver-blue and she looked as if she hadn't slept in several days.

The woman laughed softly and said, "It's hard to remember... with that going... and I've been here so long... or have I?" To this point, her eyes had not focused on anything, but suddenly they were locked on Troezen.

"I think my name is Amalia," she said. "But I could be dreadfully mistaken. It might be something like Breia... yes that sounds right. For now, call me Breia. I've been here long enough that I can't truly remember, but with someone here to talk to, I think I'm remembering."

Ana shrugged. "You know the controls better than I do. It's probably better if you drive."

Greg got on the bike and rode full speed towards the back-up base.

-------

The guards approached Trent and kicked away his gun. One of the guards looked him over for weapons.

Then he shot him point-blank.

---------------

the control room

Greg's father barked out orders.

"Get our men revived, and change the scene in Trent's cell. We're doing good people, let's not stop now."

It had all been a well-orchastrated hoax, They gave Trent's guard a rifle permanently set on stun. They let Trent go out into the car and get in a fake shootout with the guards at the 'gate', all of the persons involved were using stun rifles. The plan was going well, and it was time to go to the second phase.

Greg and Ana arrived shortly after. They were greeted by his father.

"Good good. The plan with your friend is working well." His father gave a short outline of the plan.

"We're still working on finding the Jedi but it will take some time. In the meantime, Jenny's working full time on getting in contact with the Republic through the comm linkups we got from the base's databanks. We're going to revive Trent now, and put him back in his cell. His 'escape attempt' will seem like a dream."

"I must say this is an incredible deception," Ana said softly. "But I am curious. Are you thinking to break him into returning to our side? Will he get so tired of escape attempts as to do so?"

Breia eyed Troezen for several seconds. Then, she spoke again.

"So who are you?" she finally asked. "And what do they have you in here for?"

Troezen tryed to see if this strange woman was telling the truth and as far as she knew it was the truth.

That was the only problem with the force that he ever felt - you never know the truth, you only know if people are believing what they are telling you.

"I'm Troezen, a jedi."he said. "The imperials locked me up for my part in the war. How long have you been here? do you know about the war?"

Trent woke up feeling woozy, but his SWAT sense kicked back in and he instantly started thinking for a plan again. He looked around, same type of cell, facing a different direction this time, 1 guard, he was eyeying him very closely, Trent looked away and saw that the cell was bare except a bed, which he was currently lying in.

"i guess asking for a drink won't work this time eh?"

"nope."

"don't say mcuh do you?"

"nope"

"well you must be a big fan with the ladies" The guard just looked at him quizically. Trent recognized where he was, it was the cities prison, partly underground so people wouldn't be afraid of it, if he rememberd correctly there was an armory down the hall on the first floor, and since he had a window he assumed he was on the first floor, now how to get out...

((Curt: They're trying to make Curt confused about wether his escape attempt was a dream, the guard would act as if he didn't know what Trent was talking about))

"Basically. Or at least confuse him enough and weaken him for anything else we can come up with. We're trying not to do anything that will kill him."

Ana nodded. "Clever."

Breia frowned and thought about it. Finally, she shrugged.

"I have no idea how long I've been here," she said, "but they've had that noise going ever since I was thrown in here. I've been in that corner trying to shut out the noise ever since... it may have been minutes ago, but it may have been hours or days."

"As to a war, I had no idea," she continued. "In fact, I'm not entirely sure where I am... but planet names aren't coming to me at the moment... If I attempt to answer, I may mix truth with fiction and I don't want to do that... where are we?"

Breia fell silent, deep in thought.

"I've never heard of earth," she finally said. "We are being held by the Empire, if my memory is coming back properly. I was born on... oh, I think it starts with a 'T'... or maybe 'N'. Then again, maybe it just has both of those letters in it... I can't be entirely sure."

She fell silent for another second before saying, "Jedi... that is familiar. Peacekeepers of the Galaxy." She smiled a little ruefully. "If the Empire is attacking a small planet unknown to me, I wonder how well the Jedi are doing."

"T? N? Uh - Tattoen? (sp?)" He paused. "The jedi, well, Republic - or, what whatever the opposing army is, aren't doing too well. The army of this planet looks like they're against us. I dont know how it is going world wide, but the section that I am ... was in, was not doing well."

He stood up and realised that if at least one of them was talking at all times, it half drowned out the noise.

"They got me when I was on a speeder searching for help. I dont want to say too much incase I give something away about the tactics, but what if I am never rescued? I wont say too much for now. Just wondering, do we ever get fed around here?"

Breia laughed and shrugged. "If you call a glass of water and a slice of bread 'feeding', I guess so. I've read stories of prisoners being treated this way, but never thought that the stories were true."

She sighed, a sound that was inaudible over the noise. "Tatooine," she said slowly. Then, she nodded. "Yes, I think that's where I spent most of my life."

A sudden look of pain crossed her face and she rubbed the back of her neck. "You have no idea what they've been doing to me! I think they're trying to erase my memory." She winced. "From what I can tell, they've done a pretty good job at it."

She watched Troezen for a moment. Suddenly, she said, "Keep talking to me. Ask me questions about my life to see if I can answer them. I need to know exactly how much of my memory I still have."
