((oh, well lets change that, diregard all that was said in the post before, except the desciprtion))

Trent sat up and looked at the guard.

"i guess asking you for a glass of water won't work this time eh?"

"what?"

"hmm, well can i have a glass of water?"

"umm, ok..." The guard came over, Trent lunged and grabbed his arm, broke it, took his gun and shot him then opened the cell and ran down the hall to where he thought the armory was.

Greg's father's commlink line rang.

"He's trying the upstairs now."

"All right. You know the scenario."

---------

The elevator doors opened, revealing the roof. He barely got outside when the elevator doors shut behind them, then a blast door closed, soldiers popped out from behind every cover there was, and someone demanded surrender.

Trent woke up and looked out of his cell, as he got up, he was at the end of a hall, and 1 gaurd per cell all the way down, Trent looked at his guard, he had seen him before, oh yeah he shot him once, and he died.

"hey man, can i have a glass of water" the guard came over and put his ahnd through the bars, Trnet lunged grabbed his arm broke it, grabbed his gun shot him, and then shot everyone else in the hall, only two poeple actually got off some shots. Trent took the keys, opeend the cell and checked the man's pulse, he was still alive, Trent looked at the gun and found that is was a stun blaster.

"sh*t! they've been playing me." He looekd around and yelled to no one in particlular.

"what do you want with me!" he yelled at the top of his lungs.

((All right, I'll post it here then. Basics:

1. 'Main characters' in the anti-brainwash that 'die' don't come back in the next cycle as the same thing. IE: The guard would just become some random soldier, a technician that you kill could become the next guard, some random soldier that you had shot in one of the battles could become the next guard.

2. After that cycle the next guard would just laugh and act as if you think he's an idiot, but he doesn't even know about your previous breakouts. The reason for this is blurring the lines between dreams, brainwash, and reality in Trent's mind, weakening it.

3. Now they'd begin to act as if though a lot of time had passed. At least a day or two, even though only about an hour has.

4. Now they'd begin adding elements from other palces. I was planning that this breakout, an imperial transport (not real of course, but one captured by them) would pick up Trent, but then the commanding imperial officer there would shoot him. Then he'd wake up, not in a cell but in a replica of his police precint, with rebel soldiers holodisguised as his partners, commanding officer, etc.(they've gotten the info from the computer they hacked), all acting as if though nothing had happened, the Empire had never arrived, and suddenly a stormtrooper bursts in and shoots everybody. Then finally he'd wake up in an Imperial barracks, and they'd run holo simulations of the horror the imps have unleashed in other worlds, thus hopefully countering the brainwash.))

Greg's father led Ana and Greg to the control room where everything, From Trent's vital signs, to heat signatures, to weaponn status, to even Trent's brainwaves, was controlled. He explained the various equipment. Then he showed them to a line of chairs where they could rest.

"This is an incredible deception," Ana said, nodding slowly. She took a seat. "And in answer to your question, I wouldn't mind working with him, if you'd still like me to."

Breia thought for a minute and shook her head. "I have no idea. Something's playing in my head that they might shove it through a small door in the door to the cell, but I can't be sure."

((ok so disregard the post above then))

Trent woke up, 'nope still in a cell' he thought, Trent sat up and looked around he saw a couple of gaurds, ' one more time...'

"hey man can i hav--" just then the wall exploded and stormtroopers flooded in and broke Trent out, the grabbed him and pulled him aboard their transport.

"took you fools long enough!"

"enough, Trent you are the fool!" Trent's commanding officer said.

"on your first mission you were captured and broken!"

"i was not!"

"yes you were, they have thier methods, now Trent, you are invaluable to us, prepare to die" Trent felt a sharp burning pain he looekd down and aw a blaster burn in his chest, he then closed his eyes and fell over.

"So how many times are you planning on making him think he's dead or dreaming?" Ana wondered as she watched the entire thing play out on a nearby screen.

Breia nodded and curled up on the floor again, once again looking like a pile of rags. After a moment, she moaned.

"If they would only cut the noise, I could bear it," she said. "As it is, I have the worst headache in the history of the galaxy!"

Trent woke up, 'now wait you can't wake up, your dead, ah damnit there is an afterlife' he thought then opened his eyes.

"hey buddy, sleeping at the desk again are we?"

"huh?"

"hello, you look a little spaced out there buddy you ok?" Trent looked up at who was speeking to see his best freind from when he was Police officer. Trent jumped up and back form his desk.

"no, this isn't possible, i'm dead, and this buidling was demolished!"

"what the hell are you talking about? i mean you did get shot last mission, but you said you were ok, you alright man?"

"but the Empire, and the big war and, i was captured."

"whatever your on, i want some." Trent looked around, he saw the old HQ and all his old freinds and comrades.

"have i been promoted?"

"no, where are you getting this stuff from?"

"hmm, i do remember...nothing nevermind what am i supposed to eb doing again?" Trent said but then was lost in thought 'but i remember so much, was it all a dream? no it couldn't have been, but this is so real and argh i don't understand'.

((I'm going to add Ana into the Trent situation now..... hope everybody's okay with that.))

Ana sat handcuffed in the police station. Since Trent had never seen her show any emotion, she judged it best to keep her face emotionless now as well. A police officer was interrogating her, but she refused to answer him. Her 'crime' was shoplifting and she'd been caught.

Troezen growned in agrement. "I've travelled most of the galaxy and i can believe that you do" he said.

He stood up and went to the door. He tryed to open it but it was locked.

"I suddenly thought that maybe they forgot to lock it and we didnt try the door." he sighed "it was worth a try"

Trent started doing the paperwork and whatnot, when he looekd up from his desk he saw a man interrogating a beautiful young woman, he was getting nowhere, Trent got up and walked over.

"i'll take it from here." Trent dimissed the man and stood above the woman.

"says here that you were shoplifting, got a good reason for that?"

Ana looked up at Trent, but said nothing. She locked eyes with him, her blue eyes strangely void of emotion. At length, she looked straight ahead once more, continuing to ignore his question.

Breia sighed. "If only it would be that easy... as it is, we're stuck."

She sat up again and looked around the room. "Bare as bones. Nothing to help us at all..." she shook her head. "So there's a war on this planet called Earth, huh? Something to do with the Empire wanting control of everything, I'll assume. How did the Jedi get involved?"

Pre-Ana going in

"Until it starts working you see here." He took out a sheet showing an example of a brainwave. "Is his normal brainwaves. Here." He took another one, where the waves were fewer and longer. "Is him brainwashed. First the brain will overreact, and they'll be manyjagged lines here, it's starting." He pointed at the monitor. "And eventually it'll start receding to normal, which will mean we've broken the brainwash.

"hmm, can you keep a secret, well i don't care but here goes" Trent leaned in and whispered.

"i know this is real, but i don't at the same time, these people are fake, and the same time real, you too might be real or fake. I'm not sure, but either way, i'm gunna die sometime soon, as are you."

Ana stared at him for a moment. Then she shook her head. "That makes no sense," she said, speaking for the first time. "Real and yet fake at the same time. I'll admit, it's an interesting problem, but let me say truthfully, I'd say you belong in some kind of mental institution."
