Curt-Man Posted October 9, 2005 Posted October 9, 2005 "Good now lets get going." Endac said, as he hopped on board the ship.
Writer Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 "Off we go," Alex said quietly. She turned to Breia. "Stay here. Provide whatever help you can while we contact the Torenite Millitary. With any luck, we won't be gone long and they'll be along as quickly as possible." Breia nodded and Alex boarded the ship.
Curt-Man Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 The ship started up and took off into space. "Setting in Co-ordinates." Trent said as he punche din their destination and then took off into hyperspace towards it. "It'll be a while before we get there, so get comfy."
guybroom Posted October 10, 2005 Author Posted October 10, 2005 ((The new thread will start on the ship and will probably take a while to get back to earth, so bare that in mind with which chars are on the ship. Ill make it in a few days - give you time to do stuff)) Troezen went onto the ship. There were 8 jedi with them. He went onto the bridge. The ship just started up and lifted off. Then they were in hyperspace. "So how far is this place?" he asked.
jokemaster Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 As the ship took off, Greg gripped his seat tightly. He had negelected to mention his fear of flying.
Curt-Man Posted October 11, 2005 Posted October 11, 2005 "Very far." Endac said in asnwer to Troezen's question. He looked over and saw Greg. "What? don't enjoy take offs Greg?"
jokemaster Posted October 11, 2005 Posted October 11, 2005 "I don't enjoy being launched into space inside a tube of metal. " Greg replied.
Curt-Man Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 "What would you prefer? wood?" Endac said then let out a hearty laugh and relaxed in his chair.
Writer Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 "You'll be fine," Alex said calmly. "This ship is rather stable." Turning to Troezen, she said. "How far? Haven't you spent any time studying this galaxy? The planet known here as Mercury is the drop spot... there's a small bunker there. It's big enough that we can land the ship in it and from there we'll contact Toren."
jokemaster Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 Greg nodded, but he wasn't convinced, but hell, if he survived he'd be the first earthling to set foot on Mercury, and he was acting as Earth's ambassador, he couldn't afford to appear scared.
Curt-Man Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 "This Mercury, isn't it supposed to be hotter than hell and damnation itself?" Endac asked curiously.
jokemaster Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 "That's probably a lower tempature than Mercury." Answered Greg. "It's the reason we always tried going to, say, Mars instead of Mercury."
Writer Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 Alex turned to the Jedi and said, "This ship can handle the heat, right?" Genuine concern entered her voice. "The bunker wasn't hot at all... and it had an instantaneous transportation device inside... Breia and I never felt the effects of the heat... the ship will hold, right?"
jokemaster Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 "Now you see why I was worried over getting launched in a metal tube?"
Curt-Man Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 "Heh, I wonder if I can walk on the surface without a protective device..." Endac wondered as he had a huge resistance to heat.
jokemaster Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 "Yeah, that's really gonna help me, knowing you can walk on the planet." Said Greg sarcastically.
Curt-Man Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 "Well depends on if it has an atmosphere, if it does then I probably will, I still need to breathe ya know."
guybroom Posted October 15, 2005 Author Posted October 15, 2005 ((ok - im gonna pm wj about toren and stuff and then ill make the new thread. Dont go posting anymore in here...)) Troezen sighed. "I dont have a clue what temperature this ship can take. My ship could take the hheat, but this is a lot different, let's just hope it can." One of the jedi came in, "this ship will just about hold out. But don't go slowly!" "That's the answer then, let's go." Troezen said. "Let's go."
