Well, seeing as how George Lucas is oh, so fond of making any main character a general no matter what their qualifications, I'm gonna go out on a limb here, and guess a general.

I can't tell you how, though, so skip questoin if I'm right

Please read page 1 Seeker. You shouldnt guess, and you should only answer when you know the full answer.

Sorry, forgot to announce here.

I used to be jediknight_114. Recently changed over to present incarnation. So, when you tally scores, JK_114 and I are the same.

And, yeah, was just feeling a little sarcastic about the entire General Anybody thing. Back on topic, open question.

Ok, I am giving Fosh and "??1" a point each. Anakin's rank changes depending on what source you are looking at ! The film indicates he is a commander, whereas varied EU sources, from the clone wars series to comics mentione he is a "General of The Grand Army of The Republic"

lolz...another of those "EU Contradictions for Kurgz list :)

New Question:

Q. Describe the paradox between the aurebesh alphabet and what you hear in the films/audiobooks ??

bonus 2 points : Name 1 instance where this convention/pronunciation was accurately described ??

OK, alhough perhaps not stated very elegantly, you do stumble on the answer "??!" :

Aurebesh alphabet : has different pronunciation than our letters

eg. C-3PO is "Cresh 3 Pesh-Osk"

But despite this, the language represented by these letters is "Galactic Basic" = English

Bonus eg. Anakin refers to clone trooper designations in Aurebesh in Jedi Trial.

??1 she was Vader's Agent Not Palpatines...Though she was often considered an Emperor's Hand.

That would be Lord Vader I presume...In Empire Strikes Back

bonus for who i was thinking about

so "??1" are you thinking of someone other than Vader ??

Please confirm - Also note that you asked for "first described" Looking at it in terms of production chronology, of course ESB was first, but in "EU chronology" there may be a different answer.

Please clarify - otherwise we can move onto a new question :)

sorry about the confusing question. as you can see, i have a lot to learn about asking questions i was thinking about the witches of dathomir in the courtship of princess leia(in 8 a.b.y) because i forgot about vader. note: if some of you are thinking about the ancient sith, its not them because they had beam tubes at the time, and they are thechnically not blasters :)

Thanks for clarifying. Please use others questions(and mine!) as a guideline to how to write them out ? Try and be specific as you can :)

New Question :

Q. In which book did "the ghost of Qui Gon" play a significant role ? Give an example of what he did/said that was important.

Fosh. Im not awarding that. Firstly, it was referred to directly in the movie so would belong in the movie quiz. Secondly, Qui Gon's direct role is relatively smaller in the ROTS book than i the answer I was after. Qui Gons does more than chat to yoda in it :)

??1 - to delete, press the "edit this" link at the bottom of the post. You have the option of editing what you have already written, or deleteing the post. Of course, you only have the ability of editing your own posts only :)

Q. In which book did "the ghost of Qui Gon" play a significant role ? Give an example of what he did/said that was important.

EDIT : Hmm. No takers ?? The answer ws "Jedi Trial" Qui Gon actually speaks to Anakin, warning him not to kill in cold blood. Interesting that he didnt speak to him in in ROTS before he became sithified :p

  • 2 weeks later...

A: I think you are referring to Grand Vizier Sate Pestage. He was one of Palpatine's aides when he was still a Senator and followed his master when he became Emperor. He was on the second Death Star, visible in ROTJ but somehow escaped the battle station's destruction. He turned up later taking control over Coruscant. How he died is in dispute since he is shown to have died in an X-wing comic, but he turns up later on Byss on the Cloned Emperor's side.

If correct then;

Q: What is the Teljkon Vagabond and what was it's intended use?

A. The teljkon vagabond was a large, living, Qella ship. Its intended use was to thaw out the frozen homeworld of the Qella, Maltha Obex. Source: Black Fleet Crisis Trilogy.

Q. On what planet did Talon Kardde first meet Mara Jade? Where is this planet located? What fake names did they initially give each other?
