I recently got the strategy guide of KOTOR 2, and during the part where you fight Atris

(Atris has fallen to the dark side)

Atris was just her usual self (with a red saber) but the strategy guide seems to imply that

When Atris falls to the dark side she becomes Darth Traya. The strategy guide showed a picture of Atris wearing black robes, something like a hood, and was labeled Darth Traya.

When I fought Atris she was nothing like that. Could someone please clear this up for me?

Darth Traya is Kreia, not Atris.

Atris is just this game's Bastilla- ice queen with a British accent who talks a good light side game but really wants to be bad- not that they are re-using archetypes or anything.

 

She's not Traya though.

though she is walking krea/trayas path... krea(sp) used to be a archiver(librarian whatever) just as Atris is... but that's getting into a rant, sorry

Ive read this too. It says that darth traya was an evil sith(another one like nihilus and sion). My guess is that this guide was made in the prosess of making the game and this content was removed in the last moment thats only a guess though

Nope, not removed.

 

Darth Traya is definately in the game, she is Krea our teacher.

I noticed that in the guide as well (if I'm going to be peppered with spoilers until Feb. I might as well have them be of my own accord:( ), and was a bit confused. It claims

 

 

Atris takes on the moniker of Darth Traya once Kreia leaves visits her on Telos.

thats how poorly the story is written.

The book had a bunch of screenshots of

Atris=Traya

 

as well as a picture of Kreia talking to Atris about it. None of this was in the game?
