How can I make Bandon Robes a selectable item in my inventory

So, RedHawke, if you have just renamed some existing game's files, what are the original names of the scripts files you renamed ?

Sorry, I don't remember what they were, you will have to inspect the original .dlg files to see what the original scripts were called... though it doesn't really matter what the source .nss of those scripts are, since to add additional content to the mod, all you have to do is edit the source .nss files I provided, compile those, and you should be all set to do whatever evil you want.

I think you might be reading a little too much into it! :D

An other question :

I would want to know how I can put the Bandon's robe and Dark Jedi robes (Like in the Make Canderous A Dark Jedi Mod, by RedHawke) as selectable items in the inventory, and which can be worn by all of your party members.

I thank you in advance !

Now this one I readily know how to do! ;) And it is pretty simple too, just a 2da edit. :xp:

You will have to have the Make Canderous A Dark Jedi Mod installed in your KOTOR override, and then you will need to edit your override directories appearance.2da... in the following manner.

For all the Male NPC's (Rows 5, 6, and 7) and your Male PC's lines (Rows 136 through 180)in their respective modelj and texj fields on all those lines you will have to enter "N_DarthCand", without quotes. and presto... all the games Revan robes as well as my Revan the White and Crimson Templar robes will give you the Bandon/Sith Master look instead of the Revan Robes. This cannot be done for Females as there is no Female model for Darth Bandon or the Armored Sith Masters (Like the Taris Governor).

I hope this helps! :D

EDIT: Thanks for splitting this Darth333! :D

RedHawke, for the Make Canderous A Dark Jedi Mod, I just want to obtain the Canderous' clothes and NOT his face, etc ...

I'm not a specialist, but the handling you gave to me seems too easy to do ... So, are you sure of that you said ?

Excuse me to being such wary ...

It is that easy Galakmech. I would say go with the suggestions you've been provided and use a little trial and error until you get just the effect that you want. Heads and faces are goverened by another portion of appearance.2da clothes and body models are handeled by the area Redhawke mentioned. The only exception to this comes from certain models like the Light models such as the quarren and jawa's. All main characters have seperate heads from body models.

Darkkender, I couldn't have said it better myself! :D

Galakmech, if you have any other questions feel free to ask. ;)

I suppose that Dark Jedi robes and Bandon's robe use the same 3D model, no ?

Not sure what you are asking here, no the Dark Jedi robes use the Jedi Robe body model and the black Jedi Robe texture, the Armored Sith Master and Darth Bandon use a different model and textures.

Excuse me for the formulation I've employed, RedHawke ...

I wanted to talk of the Armored Sith Master robe and not of the Dark Jedi one.

(Armored Sith Master are Sith who look like to the Taris governor, no ?...)

So, by correcting my mistakes, I reformulate my question :

"Do Bandon robe model and Armored Sith Master robes exploit the same body model ?"

According to your reply, yes, they use the same 3D model.

But I do not want that there's confusion ; Consequently, I await your confirmation.

Still excuse me to being such wary !

If you want the appearance of Darth Bandon or the Armored Sith master you "HAVE TO" use it's 3d model without that the texture that it uses will look completly out of place on the robes. Basically to give the model that Armored the 3d model is changed and the texture is applied over the model if the model does not have that raised blocky look of a breastplate then the texture will not match properly.

In appearance.2da the modela through the modelj fields all call for the appropriately named body .mdl and .mdx files, while the corrisponding texa through texj fields all call for the appropriately named texture .tga or .tpc for said body models. :D

:roleyess: Well... I also await your results... Have you done as I instructed you to? Have you at least gotten it to work?

Inquiring minds want to know! :D

And don't worry too much about messing things up... that happens to the best of us. Just remember to back up your override's 2da files, and then jump-in and play with the 2da files, that is how you learn, and you also can do some really cool stuff... once I had messed up appearance.2da so bad that Carth was a Kinrath, and Zaalbar was one of those Chadra-Fan, and Mission ended up a Jawa, though Canderous as a Sith Soldier kind of fit his personality.

I have much work these times, but all "easy ways" which were given to me on this forum have been working.

So, I'm sure results for Bandon's robe will be positive.

I recall you as soon as I would have tested these mods ... (If I do not have questions while this waiting, of course)

PS : For those which have SW : KotOR II : The Sith Lords : What's the name of the madalorian warrior represented on my avatar ? (This question is asked for a future topic)

Thanks ! :D

Sorry if I am confused, but doesn't he just want to "Giveitem fallenonesrobes" (I dont remember the tag)

I am sorry if I am interjecting.
