Colma Adawin Posted February 9, 2005 Share Posted February 9, 2005 <Chin Dow Day is Oriental for goodbye> hey ppl, im going to miss saying that well, the time has come, i've, sadly decided to 'abandon' KotOR modding the reasons being: 1) I couldn't mod to save my life 2) Work is taking over my life (what life) although, i will be playing KotOR 2, i love SW too much, i know, a 17 yr old still loving SW games / films. I MAY (HOPEFULLY) return to modding, but at the moment, its not looking to good. I'll still be reading up on the forums, becoz i cant change my home page (MY Control panel of Holowan) im so stupid, cant mod, and i cant change my freakin home page well anyway, Good Luck to all! i wish you more luck in your modding experience than i, reveiw of MattColejk's mods: Unique Sabre Textures v2 - sorted bug and enhanced the colours more. FAILED MISERABLY to make them unique. Bubble Mech Malak - Svosh's and PrtyLizardJedi's two mods combined - Illigally i might add, i disobeyed the PRIMARY rule of mod releasing - if you use someone elses mods, ASK THEIR PERMISSION FIRST!!!! Sorry lads, i've betrayed you guys. Achillies - I know we've not seen eye to eye, (duh, i'm lookin at a monitor) but i wish to publicly apoligise to you, i butted in to a problem that had nothing to do with me. Sorry bud Darth333 - Thanx for all your help, if only i had the patience to complete a mod, we might've created something worth while. (love the site btw) Prime - thanx for filling me in on the technical side of Holowan, did help in the end T7Nowhere - love the models / mods gr8 stuff, i wish to thank you for your mods and advise. Maverick187 - Good Luck on the Modeling, will be cool to you and the other modelers0 battle it out for the coolest looking hilt! thanx for the Jaden Korr's Double-Sabre, loved every bit of it. EVERYONE ELSE - im sorry for not mentioning you, but i'm half asleep and working in the morning, but i will miss the mods that you'll create, GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!! I know how hard it is and can be, especially juggling around a job, finding time to learn & apply the techniques. So just do me 1 favor? Keep modding in mind, and just a little 'break' for now ok? No need to rush into anything, and like you said, just because you aren't modding, doesn't mean you're not welcome at Holowan. You've always contributed to the Community so don't let that stop See'ya around buddy, and as T7 said... Don't give up on modding just yet, heck I think I can mod fairly good and I don't even know the specs. of my own comp.
