BongoBob
Can anyone help me find an mp3 of Green Day's Jesus of Suburbia(or anysong from american idiot for that matter), except minus the drums. Only the guitars and singing. I'm trying to learn to play the songs on my drums and I just learned Jesus of Suburbia today, but it's boring without the guitar and the vocals. And if I play mine while playing the drums, it's overlaps and since my drums don't sound exactly the same, it bothers the crap out of me. Or if anyone knows of a program I can use to edit my American Idiot MP3s myself please tell me. Any help is appreciated, and I'm sorry if this is breaking any sort of forum rules. If you find any you can either PM them to me or IM me at BongoBob7686, or even email them to me at PsychoBongoBob@gmail.com. Thanks to any and all that help
Tyrion
If you have friends that play the guitar, why don't you just record your own acoustic version? You can sing since you won't have to drum for the song.
BongoBob
A)Nothing to record with : | B)All my friends suck at trying to play someone elses music. They can write and play their own awsomeness, but not anyone elses. Thanks for trying though
Astrotoy7
You'd be hard pressed to find the vocal + guitar only tracks.... needless to say, it would be illegal to download them in any form.. what I can suggest 1. Get the track off your cd 2. extract onto HDD 3. Use sound editing software to remove the drum track 4. Im not sure what software exactly, but I know this is a common things Djs do to sample and loop parts of tracks. Google 'sampling or dj software' for example... I know you can do this with acid pro that program can be tricky for a low end user... mtfbwya
Mike Windu
Remix it and add The Black Album to it. Forget about drums.

Id ask edlib, IIRC he is sound engineer ot thereabouts... mtfbwya
jon_hill987
Play it in WinAmp and change the equilzer settings to take out all the drums, if they are at the same freq's as the vocals and guitar in that track it won't work, but normaly you can get rid of most of the drum line by cutting out the low freq's. if you actualy want to record it without the drums then I suggest Virtual DJ (just google it) it ain't exactly what it is for but it should do the job. If you wan't some more advice try asking in a music forum.
