Darth_Tratious
hey Darth333 does your 100% influence mod always keep a 100% like you piss your npcs off does it lose influence or still stay at a
Darth333
no: you start at 100% but you can loose influence afterwards. Try Xcom's mod: it will allow you to adjust influence as you want.
Lorden Darkblade
I wonder if there is a way to always maintain high influence.

Xcom
Originally posted by Uchiha Itachi I wonder if there is a way to always maintain high influence. Yes, there is, and in fact, it so easy, it's laughable. Simply extract (using Kotor Tool) compiled script called a_influence_inc.ncs to your Override. Then rename this script to a_influence_dec.ncs Voila. Now, no matter what you do/say, you'll gain positive influence with your party members. Lorden Darkblade
Dude, you're kidding right? All it ahs to be done is that? You sure? Just rename that script?

No, I am not kidding. Actually, this was the intial concept of my influence mod. But later I decided it would be too pathetic to release smth like this. (It didn't even require any modifications..LOL!), and b) player won't be able to decrease influence, so I came up with the Mind Probe.

Subtle, evil, and rather funny.
websee
well, the influence system works both ways. i prefere to have half of my characters to have high influence and the pther hallf low. cuz then they have the opposite alignment. and if you are a light sided guardian-type it is sometimes better to have a real dark atton (you still can make him jedi if you have lost enougth influence). for dark side its somehow good to have a light sided disciple or handmaiden, cuz they are the characters that can get really mad at you if you are dark sided, and you still can make them jedi. my best result was an atton with dark side bonus when i had a light side bonus, simply loose enougth influence with him
kata_mad
Slightly off topic, does this mod need a new game as it does not appear to work on my saved game when i try to talk to HK-47.

Darth InSidious
It also gets stuck when you get to before Canderous's fight......
Darth333
In principle, yes you do need to start a new game (but maybe it works when you put it in your override directory before recruiting a npc, I ma not sure as I never tried this). So far, the main purpose of this mod is to build your Jedi team apart that, there is no reason to raise your influence to 100% and get the full story from your npcs in one shot as some cutscenes between some npcs requiring certain levels of influence will not trigger (some cutscenes will trigger only if you have more influence on certain npcs than others per example) and some dialogues may trigger in a weird order.
