St. Helens blew up again, and although it doesn't look terrible bad I'm sure that's what the Romans also thought when Mount Vesuvius erupted, and we all know how that turned out.

 

On a semi-related note, hopefully this means that the super-eruption of Yellowstone(and our subsequent extinction) is nigh.

I hope this release of pressure could calm the possibly super-eruption. But only with further study of underground activity. For all we know this could just be a small sign the eruption is on the horizon.

 

But yeah, I heard something about this last night.
