Tyrion
http://www.fs.fed.us/gpnf/volcanocams/msh/ http://www.kgw.com/ St. Helens blew up again, and although it doesn't look terrible bad I'm sure that's what the Romans also thought when Mount Vesuvius erupted, and we all know how that turned out. On a semi-related note, hopefully this means that the super-eruption of Yellowstone(and our subsequent extinction) is nigh.

I hope this release of pressure could calm the possibly super-eruption. But only with further study of underground activity. For all we know this could just be a small sign the eruption is on the horizon. But yeah, I heard something about this last night.

jon_hill987
Yeah, I saw a program on it. It will cover most of nort america with Ash and lava, killing most people there, the ash will get into the atmosphere blocking out the sun for everybody in the northen hemisphere for a few years. Gonna get cold here.
El Sitherino
It'll block out the sun everywhere, and it'll be many, many years before it starts to clear away.
legameboy
Well, that sucks. ^_^ Of course, there's also the chance that an asteroid will crash into earth with the power of a 5 million mega-ton bomb also.
jon_hill987
There are some other disasters "waiting to happen" http://www.benfieldhrc.org/SiteRoot/tsunamis/mega_tsunami_more.htm The whole side of la palma could fall into the sea if the volcano erupts again. "So" i hear you say, "what has that got to do with me, i don't live there", check out the images and you will see...

jon_hill987
That wasn't the point, chances are they will be alright, if they are on the safe side of the island. It is the east coast of America that has the problem when a 100m high wave hits it.
legameboy
You can run and but you can't hide... from Mother Nature. *evil cackle* For some reason the image of Kreia (nature-ized) popped into my head.
