Still, worst LA game ever has to be Yoda Stories. It's just unbelievable how bad it was. First of all, you don't play Yoda. You play Luke Skywalker. It is supposed to take place during his Jedi training on Dagobah. However that's about all that is in common with the actual star wars story. The rest is just pissed on and left to rot.

Perhaps another rotten one was that fighting game (can't remember the name). It was a 1-on-1 fighter game like Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat. I'm sorry, but bad idea. Luke armed with a lightsaber, vs anyone without one.......seems to me that it would be a quick fight.

It was Masters of Teras Kasi. (I still have the LA 98 Catalogue). It looks really bad.

The novelty of having Star Wars characters in a fighting game wore thin pretty quick. I brought myself to beat the game once to unlock Vader, but I never played it again after that. It was just so generic, the Star Wars references were fine, but it felt like a shameless cash-in at the time. Keep in mind this was in the days before we got so many other Star Wars games thrown in for various genres just to fill them (games like Super Bombad Racing and Star Wars Demolition).

What could have been done better? Well for one thing the whole "lightsabers are nerf bats" thing was a bit annoying. Plus the fact that it was the same old Virtual Fighter 2 style movement. They could have tried to make it stand out from the genre a bit. Maybe give freedom of movement, or more Jedi characters (or else give a reason why the attacks are so nerfed).

More interaction with the backgrounds, anything... it was just a really generic game, too forgetable.
