Kjølen Posted April 2, 2005 Posted April 2, 2005 Pope John Paul II dies at 84 This is a sad moment for not just Catholics. The Pope was a great man that did wonderful things for everyone. Catholics, other Christians, Muslims, Jewish, Athiests, everyone. It is relieving though, that he was finally released from his painful life to somewhere much better.

Nitro Posted April 3, 2005 Posted April 3, 2005 Being Anglican, the Pope has no official religious signifigance to me, but Karol Jozef Wojtyla was a man that I believe had some sort of signifigance to everyone, regardless of denomination, or even religion... He will be missed by members of every faith.

He was Pope for longer than most of you twerps have been alive and he has the responsibility of the whole ****ing world on his shoulders. JPII was a GREAT man and all of you added up together could not even come close to the greatness that he was. goddamn kids have no respect for anything.
