guybroom
Ray Park's voice was not used for Darth Maul's voice I dont know why, but I'm guessing it wasnt evil enough or something like that. But for what ever reason, Peter Serafinowicz became the voice. Im taking a guess at the reason, they wanted the script changed or something and they couldnt get Ray Park back or something??? No idea at why. Q: Where does Anakin think that angels live? How does he know this? Who does he tell this to? [edit] grrrr - you got there first Sivy!!! jedispy
Q: Where does Anakin think that angels live? How does he know this? Who does he tell this to? Moons of Diego (or Viego...can't remember the pronounciation). Anywho, he tells it to Padme. I'm guessing I'm right, so... Q: Who is the first person in the OT to have a "bad feeling?" guybroom
Doesnt that still count as a counting question? From what I can remember, Luke says it when they begin to approach the Death Star. WHen R2 disappears, Luke says "It's too late to go out, too many sand people....BLAST!" Astrotoy7
Guybroom, nice work.... I actually was going to just ask for four or five. I didnt know so many different people said it ! ET, thanks for clarifying that Jedispy - yeah, thats right ! BLAST ! * * * Q. What are the Tuskens' characteristic gesture ? bonus 2 points : how did this come about ? mtfbwya
Shok_Tinoktin
A) Their characteristic gesture is pumping their arms up and down above their heads, with their hands on gaffi stick/rifle. Originally, he just raised his hands up above his head once, but in editing they changed it to look like that gesture, and it has been used since (im assuming thats what you mean by how it came about) And I pass, yet again. Astrotoy7
good work Shok Yes, there was very little usable footage shot on that day. What little they did get they edited into what you see today. To extend some sequences a bit longer, frames were repeated, namely with the arms pumping up and down. What was an editing trick ended up becoming a trademark of those characters, which was seen again in TPM damn you for passing Shok ! *points at Shoks sig* * * * Q. The Dialogue of the conversation between Vader and the Emperor in ESB was changed for the SE DVD. What were the changes made to imply/clarify ? mtfbwya
guybroom
Sorry, I'm very lazy, so im quoting kurgan from the dvd changes thread. Ian McDiarmid's scene: He replaces the hologram of the Woman with the superimposed monkey (or lemur, I forget which) eyes. The hologram looks pretty freaky, like a zombie or washed up goth rocker, and Palpatine looks like he took his meds this time. The only thing is his eyes are pretty yellow, while the rest of him is blue (like the hologram color). The Dialouge is altered, with the following lines (new parts in bold): Palpy: We have a new enemy, the young rebel who destroyed the Death Star. [Deleted: Vader saying "Yes my Master."] I have no doubt this boy is the offspring of Anakin Skywalker. Vader: How is that possible? Palpy: Search your feelings Lord Vader, you will know it to be true. The old line of Palpy's was "We have a new enemy, Luke Skywalker." and the rest of those lines weren't there. Vader's line "Yes, my Master" is removed from Palpatine's set of lines at the top. Additionally, Palpatine says "Yes" only once, before "He could be a great asset." whereas the previous actor said it twice. The rest of the dialouge in this version is the same as before. A subtle change, but in a scene where Vader is on the right side of the screen with his back to us, and two Imperial officers are talking on his right/our left (one of them a very young one) the rank insignias are correct. In earlier versions they were flipped (on the wrong sides of their uniforms). It looks like at least two shots like this were fixed, but there could be more of them... Astrotoy7
sorry guybroom, I am not giving you the point here.... I wasnt after a transcription of the scene, and copy and pasting is, as you said, lazy this is what I was after What were the changes made to imply/clarify ? I did not ask what were the changes made * * * The changes have clarified that Anakin is not originally aware of his offspring... in the original dialogue, it is more ambiguous... this obviously ties in with what we will see in ep3 I imagine * * * Guybrooms questions can stay active : Q: What is the name of the fish that Jar Jar admires in TPM mtfbwya

jedispy
I don't think a poncho was worn in 5 Well Lando wore a Poncho-ish style of cape. Technically a cape, so no poncho point there. No question in play. jedispy
Hrm....o.k. Let's see........ kinda running out of questions. I think if anyone asks who the best boy or key grip was in ANH, they need to be destroyed. That crap is retarded. Q: o.k., without using EU, briefly give the chronology of events in the prequels, starting at the duel in the Theed hangar, and ending with the duel at Geonosis For example, before the Theed duel, brief events are: 1. Sith is suspected at incomplete duel on Tatooine. 2. Jedi escape back to Coruscant temple to consider existence of Sith/coming of the chosen one. 3. Liberation of Naboo/Duel at Theed. Don't know how many points it's worth. Leave that up to the boss man. I'm just trying to make things interesting
Astrotoy7
Astro has many questions, but is a little busy atm... I do get on daily though to make sure things are chugging along... That is a multi tiered question there jedispy [EDIT] I was going to give this question a couple of points if someone had answered it...but alas no, and I wont be greedy and take more than just one point is this acceptable jedipsy Duel at Theed>Qui Gon Slain>Darth Maul slain>Obi Wan pledges to train Anakin>New sith apprentice - Count Dooku. Dooku as Tyranus recruits Jango Fett as clone template for clone army>He also orders Jango to arrange an assasination attempt on padme which fails>Obi Wan and anakin pursue the assassin>evidence leads to kamino>clone army discovered>Jango confronted and pursued to geonosis by Obi Wan(anakin and padme travel there via Naboo/Tatooine)>Obi and Anakin confront Dooku on Geonosis.. jedispy *please* dont ask a question like that again...trivia threads are meant to be fun, not homework * * * New Question : Q. Why was the number "3" put into 3POs name ? (was in novelisation and original script of TPM) [EDIT] No takers ? The answer is that threepio would be the third member of the skywalker family(along with anakin and schmi) * * * New Question ? Q.
