Rekoil Posted May 2, 2005 Share Posted May 2, 2005 oh ok fair enuf. let me see if i got this straight. the new hk will be a new npc replacing the old hk. he will be human thus making him able to weild a lightsabre/melee. he will use droid upgrades. and finally he will look and talk like the normal hk. right? When I posted it I was thinking that it would be cool if HK could wield a lightsaber. Not be a jedi or anything. Just a droid who could use a lightsaber. After all the is discussion about animations not made like that and everything. I figure its probably extremely hard if not impossible. The idea of using a humanoid model and making it resemble all of HKs qualities sounds interesting. Maybe there is even another way out there. Anyway, I appreciate all the interest. Even if HK has a few more pounds it would be nice to see your results for most people before cluttering there hard drive or burning time waiting for there dialup to download. @Rekoil--When you create a new Model or change the body model to appear a different way like jmac7142 is doing for HK's body. It can easily be used to replace the existing HK body model without any problems other than maybe the "tga" file. Droid armors and the sort even when using my "Painted Droid Armor" mod does not need extra body models for droids.
