Trahern Valley Posted May 5, 2005 Share Posted May 5, 2005 Rooting is the ranged professions' way of telling melee professions they're gonna die before they get into range. As they should. Cover + Conceal Shot + new line of site requirements = almost always impossible to hide'n'snipe. Jedi have a new power with which they can conceal themselves, as long as noone is within...24m, was it? Riflemen can't go into cover unless noone's within 120m, and then they're expected to crawl half the distance to the target, without knowing if they'll even have a line of sight when they get there. If rifles had a range of 120m I wouldn't mind. Heck, if we could shoot from windows or rooftops, I wouldn't mind. It's enough to make you switch to pistoleer...
