abespam Posted May 22, 2005 Posted May 22, 2005 linky Red Bull prepare to feel the force They’ve already got ‘wings’ and now Formula One racing’s newest team also have ‘the force’ on their side - Red Bull have teamed up with the makers of the Star Wars films for the Monaco Grand Prix. Revenge of the Sith, the sixth and final film in the Star Wars series, has just had its international premier at the famous Cannes Film Festival, which is taking place just a few kilometres down the coast from Monte Carlo. To celebrate the release of the epic movie, Red Bull and the Star Wars creators will be staging a promotional partnership over the course of the Monaco race weekend, which will see the film’s director, George Lucas, as well as some of its stars, appearing as guests of the Austrian-owned team. pics thats what i called product placement... tho red bull are a second-rate team..
Nalukai Posted May 22, 2005 Posted May 22, 2005 the intake valves should be customized with lightsaber hilts, the upper exhaunst have a vader helm that has a screamer tube in it WOOO WOOOO style except heavy breathing... and the rims should be red ^^
abespam Posted May 22, 2005 Author Posted May 22, 2005 the car, is black .. with splashs of lava (ie from mustafa in ep3).. the rear spoiler has star wars written on it.. and the front has a darth vader helmet painted it on it... .. but the best thing of all is that all the pit stop crew.. wear storm trooper helmets!!!!! would of been hard to do the pit work.. "I can't see a thing in this helmet";)

Sabretooth Posted May 23, 2005 Posted May 23, 2005 The race was pretty heated, and I caught every second of it yesterday. Luckily, my personal favourite racer - Raikkonen won! (My favourite team being Mclaren/Mercedes)
