Red is done:

Much sleeker like i always imagined sith blades: fast, agile and less glow.

Flourish/battle:

Then we have Purple:

I downtowned the glow a little bit, if more is needed just ask. It has a small violet outer glow that is hardly visible which i left there on purpose. I made this with mace

windu in mind :)

Green is far from finished, im going to make it a bit darker and give it a bit less glow:

These are all custom made colors by yours truly. The Cores were detailed/retouched pixel by pixel and the glows burned/blurred/sharpened by hand :) If the colors suck then tell me and ill change em. This took me hours of work so im pretty proud of it :D And remember this : Everyone of them look better ingame, screenshots are class 5 jpegs and thats pretty low quality and wont show you the stuff that the game does

Post Scriptum: More colors are on the way!;)

Comments for the screenshots ;)

Red - too pink, needs more red in the mixture ( blood red ) ;)

green - i agree, losing some of that glow will not be a bad thing :D

Purple - Double sabre looks fine, but can we have a screenie of a single blade as well?

Great progress being made here!!

Here's a single purple mace windu-ish saber in flourish:

Now on to the specially requested bloody red, i still dont think it looks very badass but its the best i could do for now, ive been retouching everything for 4 hours straight now  !

If anything needs to be retouched, like if you guys dont like purple just tell me!

I wanted it to look like mace windu's saber because i wanted to recreate a certain feeling that i got when i saw him in action. Hats off to Samuel L. Jackson for requesting a purple saber from Lucas!

oh and as i said, it will look much better ingame.

Something doesn't look right with the purple saber...The color is good, but the blade looks too solid to me. Try using the blur tool if you're using pshop and blur the edges more to get that more realistic blade. Other than that, great job.

OKay, ive done the best i can and i dont think ill be customizing it ... AGAIN.

Ive spent a lot of time on red making it look like red instead of pink or something and tried to make purple more windu-ish and realistic.

Tell me what you think, i really need some new motivation! ;)

oh wait, a friend just noticed i completely removed the glow. Lemme fix that!

Thank you, i still think the red looks too strawberry but i just cant seem to find the right color! Everytime i darken it it comes up lighter ingame!

That's because of your alpha ;)

The darker the color, the more light penetrates through (making your colors watered down)...

Try decreasing your alpha strength in the areas you would like to see a "truer" color... but don't go overboard.. you'll wind up making bladed planes showing up rather than the "rounded" look of the saber :)

Ahh, good. And where can i calibrate this alpha? levels?

What program are you using for image editing?

In Photshop, it'll be in your Channels palette, as for other progs, I'm unsure (especially in Paint Shop Pro)...
