lukeskywalker1
I was just reading on IGN that Nintendo plans to skip this years Tokyo Game Show (TGS). Nintendo has already stated that we will know more about the Revolution and probably will see the controller before the New Year. So, yeah, when will they release it? The best time would be during a big video game showing.. thing.. like E3. But they didn't show it then, and they won't be showing it at TGS. IGN Link This leads people to speculate that Nintendo may have another Space World event. It would be perfect to show off the new controller, and its revolutionary aspects, and probably more Zelda info. So, do you guys think Nintendo will hold another Space World event? If so, what do you want to see? Aww man, I still remember those Zelda Space World 2000 shots/video. Just plain sweetness. I hope they have more zelda info. Zelda Space World 2000 Video 3.3 Mb IGN Link Its worth a watch if you havn't seen it. It was a zelda fans dream. Just seeing that makes you wonder what Nintendo could be planning, if they hold the event! It could be better than E3 for Nintendo fans. Also, I'm speculating, but... do you guys think that maybe Nintendo won't have a controller... umm... like it is now. Im thinking more of some kind of movement device. Shigeru Miyamoto said: "Sitting in front of your monitor with a controller, there's really nowhere to go from that paradigm, all you can do is make it prettier and faster," he stated. "What Nintendo wants to do is to open up that road, create something that goes beyond." IGN Link This leads me to believe that they will have some kind of thing.. like you can put on a special glove or something and move around with it... or something like that. What do you think? Astrotoy7
OMG...someone beat Lynky to making a Nintendo announcement ! Thats pretty gutsy, skipping the TGS. Nintendo's strongest market is in Japan IIRC.. ah well. They are strange, everyone will concede that mtfbwya
Acrylic
At this point, I wouldnt be doubting the "Nintendo ON". But I think the revolutionaryness of the controller is like, being able to attach things onto the controller. That would be pretty new, funky, and revolutionary. Maybe I'm wrong though. IG-64
It's been said before that you should take note that the controller is able to play as all the other controllers... somehow. It's also been said that the DS offers a hint. But they also made it sorta clear that there will not be screens on the controllers. >_>

It's a very sensible choice because they choose their battles and don't just rush head first into something. A SpaceWorld is possible this year, esspecially since Nintendo needs a platform to show off the Revolution before the end of the year... it should occur some time in August or September... if they ARE going to have one they'd announce it at least a month in advance... and it is July. As for Nintendo ON, it's proven to be fake, it was proven a long time ago.

Lynk Former
Um no, i'm not the only one who would say that. Look at what happened at E3, it was an all out battle between Sony and Microsoft. Go to any gaming site on the net and they'll say the same thing. Nintendo has never gone to the TGS in the short time that it has existed so it's not really a "gutsy" move on their part. They're just minding their own business.
